Jonathan GroffJonathan Groff currently stars in the newHBO television series Looking, directed byAndrew Haigh, which revolves aroundthree friends living in San Francisco whograpple with the complexities of the mod-ern gay experience. On Broadway he hasappeared in Spring Awakening (TheatreWorld Award; Tony, Drama Desk, andDrama League award nominations). HisOff-Broadway credits include The Sub -mission (MCC Theater), The Bacchae(Public Theater), Craig Lucas’s The SingingForest and Prayer for My Enemy (ObieAward), and the Public Theater’s revival ofHair. In London’s West End, he appeared inDeathtrap (Noël Coward Theatre). Mr.Groff’s regional theater credits include Red(Mark Taper Forum). On television, he hasappeared in Boss, Glee, The Good Wife,and One Life to Live. Mr. Groff’s film cred-its include HBO’s upcoming The NormalHeart, Frozen, C.O.G., The Conspirator,Twelve Thirty, and Taking Woodstock.

Mary-MitchellCampbell

Mary-Mitchell Campbell (musical directorand piano) was recently seen conducting andplaying for Carole King, Alicia Keys, and KatyPerry at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angelesalongside Quincy Jones. Her New York cred-its include Company (Drama Desk Award forOutstanding Orchestrations), The Addams

Family, Carrie, Hello Again (Drama Desknomination for Outstanding Orchestra tions),In Transit, Sweeney Todd, Road Show, Nextto Normal (Second Stage Theatre), First LadySuite, and Sweet Charity (Lincoln CenterTheater). Ms. Campbell’s regional creditsinclude Little House on the Prairie (GuthrieTheater) and 3hree (Prince Music Theater).Internationally, she has worked on Grace, theMusical (with Cy Coleman in Amsterdam)and Green Violin (St. Petersburg). Sherecorded As I Am with Kristin Chenoweth.

In addition to her musical career, Ms.Campbell is passionate about arts educa-tion and poverty reduction and is thefounder of Artists Striving to End Poverty(ASTEP); learn more at asteponline.org.She has been featured on the televisionshow Giving and was named NY1’s NewYorker of the Week for her philanthropicwork. Jim Hershman Guitarist Jim Hershman has cast a widenet in his career as a professional musician.He has performed with such diverse artistsand ensembles as Lee Konitz, the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, Steve Swallow,Jon Hendricks, the Los Angeles Phil -harmonic, Billy Porter, Patti LuPone, KristinChenoweth, and many others. In 2005 Mr.Hershman released his third CD as aleader, Partners in Crime, which featureslongtime Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestrabandmates Bill Cunliffe on Hammond B-3

organ and Jeff Hamilton on drums. Hisother releases as a leader include SmallTalk with bassist Eric von Essen and 342featuring Lee Konitz, Scott Colley, andKenny Wollesen. Mr. Hershman has per-formed in the East Room of the WhiteHouse, with various symphony orchestras,and in many Broadway shows. He lives andworks in New York City. Mr. Hershmanplays guitars made by Roger Borys, GregBrandt, and Taylor, and he uses D’Addariostrings exclusively.

Larry LelliLarry Lelli (drums) is a veteran Broadwaydrummer and conductor, with a resume sur-passing 30 shows. He most recently servedas assistant conductor/drummer for AChristmas Story with Dan Lauria and How toSucceed in Business… with Daniel Rad -cliffe. Additional Broadway credits includeassistant conductor/drummer for The Pro -ducers, drummer/percussionist for Assass ins,and onstage drummer/actor/bandleader/ contractor for Million Dollar Quartet. Mr. Lellihas recorded and/or performed live withMelissa Etheridge, Josh Groban, BernadettePeters, Nick Jonas, Patti LuPone, NathanLane, Marin Mazzie, Tom Wopat, JasonDanieley, Audra McDonald, Anika NoniRose, Gavin Creel, Vanessa Williams, JoelGrey, Tony Danza, Matthew Broderick, JaneKrakowski, Darlene Love, ABBA, theMamas and the Papas, New York Phil -harmonic, and the Jimmy Dorsey Big Band,among others. American SongbookIn 1998, Lincoln Center launched AmericanSongbook, dedicated to the celebration ofpopular American song. Designed to high-light and affirm the creative mastery ofAmerica’s songwriters from their emer-gence at the turn of the 19th century upthrough the present, American Songbookspans all styles and genres, from theform’s early roots in Tin Pan Alley andBroadway to the eclecticism of today’ssinger-songwriters. American Songbookalso showcases the outstanding interpretersof popular song, including established andemerging concert, cabaret, theater, andsongwriter performers.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Inc.Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts(LCPA) serves three primary roles: presen-ter of artistic programming, national leaderin arts and education and community rela-tions, and manager of the Lincoln Centercampus. A presenter of more than 3,000free and ticketed events, performances,tours, and educational activities annually,LCPA offers 15 programs, series, and festi-vals including American Songbook, GreatPerformers, Lincoln Center Festival, LincolnCenter Out of Doors, Midsummer NightSwing, the Mostly Mozart Festival, and theWhite Light Festival, as well as the EmmyAward–winning Live From Lincoln Center,which airs nationally on PBS.
