ABOUT MERCY HEALTH CLINICMercy Health Clinic serves uninsured, low-income adult residents of Montgomery County and is committed to providing high quality medical care, health education and pharmaceuticals to eligi-ble patients free of charge. We are a non-sectarian, non-profit, community health clinic founded in 2000. The Clinic relies on the support of dedicated medical and non-medical volunteers as well as paid staff, and seeks the support of local government, strategic partners and individual contrib-utors to fund on-going operations and future programs.

OUR PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

PRIMARY MEDICAL CARE: All patients are seen by a board-certified physician or nurse practitioner. Treatment at the Clinic includes blood tests, and frequently calls for X-Rays, mammograms and other specialty care.

Patients needing specialty care outside the Clinic are assisted by a patient navigator who accesses a network of partner agencies, enabling nearly all patients to obtain the specialty care they need.

HEALTH EDUCATION: The health education program at MHC is led by a certified nutritionist and a physician who teach classes at the Clinic and hold individual counseling meetings during Clinic hours. The goal is to change lifestyles and help patients manage their disease through exercise, diet and medications.

SPECIALTY CLINICS: Patients benefit from the many specialties we offer on site, including behavioral health, cardiology, colposcopy, diabetes, dermatology, ENT (ear, nose and throat), endometrial biopsy, endocrinology, gastroenterology, gynecology, mammography navigation, medication therapy management, orthopedics, ophthalmology, pulmonary, podiatry, psychiatry, rheumatology and urology.

PHARMACY: Mercy Health Clinic provides patients with both prescription and over-the-counter medications free of charge. Patient adherence with taking medications is enhanced by having a pharmacy on site.

Dr. Frensilli attended Georgetown University School of Medicine and has practiced medicine in

the Washington, D.C. area for more than 50 years. He has been a volunteer physician at Mercy

Health Clinic for ten years and exemplifies the professionalism, dedication and compassion of

Mercy Health Clinic's founding Medical Director. We are grateful for his generosity and

Dr. Wilkinson attended the New York University School of Medicine and served as an Associate
