In Incentive Compensation we are responsible for designing incentive compensation plans which are aligned with strategic business objectives that both motivate and reward Microsoft talent. We are also responsible for policy development and implementation of all metric-based compensation plans at Microsoft. We implement incentive compensation plans with a focus on execution excellence and timely and accurate payments to all plan participants. We support compensation programs for over 20,000 people around the world and this role specifically focuses on the i mplementation , support and training related to incentive compensation programs for participants in Microsoftx2019;s ince ntive programs. Table: Job Specification of Compensation Manager Education: MBA with specialization in HRM/MA in social work/PG Diploma in HRM/MA in industrial psychology. A degree or diploma in La bor Laws is desirable. Experience: At least 3 years experi ence in a similar position in a large manufacturing company. Skill, Knowledge, Ab ilities: Knowledge of compensation practi ces in competing industries, of job analysis procedures, of compensation survey techniques, of performance appraisal systems. Skill in writing job descriptions, in conducting job analysis interviews, in making group presentations, in performing statistical computations Ability to conduct meetings, to plan and prioritie s work. Work Orientation Factors: The position may require up to 15 per cent travel. Age: Preferab ly below 30 years. Preparing a job specification is always not easy.
