    (A) NOTIFICATION

    1 It is hereby notified for information of all Citizens of India that ORDNANCE CLOTHING FACTORY, SHAHJAHANPLUR – 242001(UP) intends to fill-up the vacancies of various Posts as mentioned in this Full Text Advertisement and also notified through

    advertisement published in Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar dt. 14-20 Feb 2015. The Citizens of India who are eligible andwilling for appointment to these Posts and are fulfilling all prescribed Eligibility Criteria and are possessing all required OriginalDocuments for these Posts on the crucial date, can apply as per the provisions given in this FTA.

    (B) GENERAL INFORMATION

    1 The General Manager, Ordnance Clothing Factory, Shahjahanpur reserves the Right to increase/ decrease the number ofvacancies or cancel the examination at any stage as he may deem necessary.

    2 Candidates applying for the examination must ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination.Their admission at all the stages of the selection/recruitment process will be purely provisional subject to satisfying theprescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of Admit Card to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finalcleared. Verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents is taken up only after the candidate has qualifiefor Trade Test/Skill Test. if on verification at any stage, it is found that the candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility criteriahis/her candidature for the post shall stand cancelled.

    3 It is informed that this is the Full Text Advertisement (FTA) corresponding to the advertisement published in the EmploymenNews dated 14-02-2015 –20-02-2015.

    4 In case of any difference/variation between the FTA and the advertisement published in Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar,as referred above, only the FTA shall be considered as the original and authentic version of the Advertisement. No claim/dispuin this regard shall be entertained on any ground(s) whatsoever.

    5 In case of any difference/variation in the contents or interpretation thereof between English and Hindi versions of the FTA, onlythe English version shall be considered as the original and authentic version of the FTA. No claim/dispute in this regard shall beentertained on any ground(s) whatsoever.

    6 The Factory reserves the right to change/amend one or more provisions in the FTA as required depending upon thecircumstances at the relevant time. Such changes/amendments shall be notified well in advance on the Factory’s InternetWebsite/Portal.

    7 The Factory also reserves the right to clarify one or more provisions in the FTA as required depending upon the circumstances the relevant time. Such clarifications shall be notified well in advance on the Factory’s Internet Website/Portal.

    Only online application will be acceptable. Ex-Trade apprentices of OCF, Shahjahanpur and other ordnancefactories, should also apply ONLINE only.The candidates sponsored by Employment Exchange Shahjahanpur and District Soldier Board Shahjahanpur, wi

    also be required to apply ONLINE against the advertised vacancies.It will be the responsibility of the candidate to keep himself/herself updated about his/her date of exam, downloading of admitcards, publishing of result etc. by visiting the website of the factory i.e. www.ocfs.gov.in.

    12 After Submitting online application, the candidate is not required to send the hard copy to the Factory. However, he/she

    should take a printout of the online Application and keep it with himself/herself for reference.13 The candidature shall be purely provisional at all stages and shall be subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility

    conditions.

    (C) CAUTION

    1 No advice/guidance/counseling in respect of any matter pertaining to the Advertisement and the Website/Portal shall beprovided by the Factory under any circumstances on any ground(s) whatsoever.

    2 No claim/dispute in respect of any matter pertaining to the Advertisement and the Website/Portal shall be accepted underany circumstances on any ground(s) whatsoever.

    3 The Candidates shall appear in the Recruitment Process/Selection Process at their own cost, risk and responsibility.

    4 Ordnance Clothing Factory, Shahjahanpur shall in no manner be responsible for any injury or loss sustained/incurred by anyCandidate in the Recruitment Process/Selection Process.

    5 No query/correspondence of any kind by any means regarding the Recruitment Process/Selection Process in connection with threcruitment including about the candidature or termination/cancellation of candidature or selection or appointment shall beentertained at any time on any ground(s) whatsoever.     14 Possession of Government Issued ID Card.The candidate should possess & bring any government issued ID Card like Driving License/Aadhar Card/PAN Caetc. at the time of written examination/Trade Test/Skill Test etc. (as applicable to the post) along with the AdmCard Issued by the factory. Without government ID Card the candidate will not be allowed to appear in thewritten examination. It is the responsibility of the candidate to bring it.

    (D) POSSESSION OF E-MAIL ID BY CANDIDATES

    1 Every Candidate applying for a Post advertised MUST possess a valid email ID which MUST remain valid and functional for theentire duration of this Recruitment Process.

    2 The Factory shall not be responsible if a Candidate’s email ID is not valid or is not functional for any period whatsoever duringthe entire duration of this Recruitment Process.

    3 The Factory shall not be responsible if a Candidate does not check the email, if any, sent to him by the Factory.

    1- The selection process shall comprise of Written Test of 100 Marks and Trade Test (Practical)2- The Written Test shall be fully objective type and OMR based.3- The Trade Test( Practical) shall be only qualifying in nature, without any marks.4- On the basis of merit list based on marks obtained in Written Test, candidates 1.25 times the number of vacancies shall

    called for Trade Test( Practical)5- The final select list shall be based on marks in the written test only, the trade test (Practical) being qualifying in nature.6- The candidates who fail the trade test would not be considered for recruitment, irrespective of marks scored by them in t

    written test.7- Minimum Qualifying Marks in Written Test for UR candidate - 40%8- Minimum Qualifying Marks in Written Test for Reserved candidate - 33%Breaking of tie in case of equality of marks in written test.

    1. In the Selection Process, other things being equal i.e. marks being equal, the trained ex-Trade apprentices of trecruiting Ordnance Factory and sister Ordnance Factories shall be given preference in the order in which they astated.

    2. In between the trained ex- Trade Apprentices of the recruiting Ordnance Factory, preference shall be given to thowho are senior i.e. if two or more ex-Trade apprentices secure the same marks then preference shall be given on baof seniority.The NCTVT examination batch numbers (month/year) will be the criteria for maintaining the seniority of Ex TA.The merit list of the particular NCTVT examination will be the criteria of seniority for Ex TA for that batch.

    (K) LANGUAGE FOR SELECTION PROCESS

    1 For Written Test for All Posts, the Question Paper will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi and English. However, the Questions pertainingto the English subject shall be in English only.

    2 For the Typing Test for the Post of Lower Division Clerk, the Language shall be Hindi or English.

    (L) FULFILLING ALL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND POSSESSING ALL ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS BY CANDIDATES ON CRUCIAL DATE

    1 All the eligibility criteria prescribed for a Post MUST be fulfilled by the applying Candidates on the Crucial Date.
