2) She should join with her friend and both of them can slow down the things and avoid the

worst excesses, and maybe they will even save a few lives. It will also help her to gain

experiences and be in a better position to move on.

Janet was in a critical situation .she could refuse the job offer as then she would not be having

any experience and could not find a better job. Getting into the job was also not a very

convenient option as there were ethical issues involved. Janet was facing an ethical issues with

this job because she was disappointment as she get an offer from a firm which deals in harmful

products like tobacco snuff, and the worst part is their target customers are little kids and young

children’s. But then after consulting with her friend on the same issue she felt that she was

becoming. The key cause in the case is after facing disappointment constantly Janet is offered a

job by Manufacturer Company of tobacco snuff who motivate young children to get indulge into

it, by adding certain flavor in the snuff. This is unethical as per Janet and she do not want to get

in dirty job.

• Recommendation:

What she could possibly have done is to keep her hands clean while being a part of the

dirty business.

• By joining this company she would gain experience that would help her to get a better

job. She would also be able to know about various marketing strategies involved.

• On the other hand she could also slow down the pace of selling of tobacco products

among the minors.

Conclusion:

What we make out of ourselves with our choices is what we most of all, have control over and

therefore, we are the most of all answerable for.

If you are a utilitarian your character can be traded in for what is often the illusory project of

maximizing benefit.

Insofar as We suggest, the first thing we have to do is roll up our sleeves and get our hands

"dirty".
