Situated in sight of Hanbury Church, with spectacular scenery and gardens, The Jinney Ring is the ideal setting to hold a Marriage Ceremony, Wedding Breakfast and Reception. As a very popular visitor centre with 12 different craft businesses, as well as an excellent restaurant, we are able to offer a range of services all in one place.

At the Jinney Ring we treat every wedding as an individual event. We want you to have the day of your dreams, therefore we do not have a prescribed package. Our process is to design the day and the menu that you want. Our staff are committed to a level of excellence which will ensure that your special day goes to plan and will be remembered forever.

courtyard of 200 year old farm buildings, with

natural gardens and sparkling duck ponds.

Hills, the Jinney Ring offers an atmospheric

and tranquil setting for your wedding celebration.

The Jinney Ring is situated in the typically English village of Hanbury which is close to Droitwich, Bromsgrove and Redditch, and has very good access from both the M5 and M42 motorways. It is also well located for local accommodation and has everything you need to make your day exceptional.

The Jinney Ring is also home to the special events dining restaurant “Ring’s” which has the traditional charm of rustic beams and brickwork, creating a cosy feeling whatever the time of year. The experienced team of staff have a well-deserved excellent reputation and can be trusted to provide you with your Wedding Breakfast, which will be both delicious and served with proper care and attention to detail.

Our beautiful gardens and rustic buildings can be used in many different ways, so we can shape your day to meet your style, guest

numbers, layout and timing.

As a result, every wedding at The Jinney Ring is individual, special and definitely not ‘packaged’. Once we have explored your options, a written quotation will follow—but there is always plenty of opportunity to change things later as your theme evolves.

We put a great deal of effort into planning your day well in advance and try to cover every eventuality. We have lots of experience in Events Management thereby ensuring that no detail is overlooked.

Your Marriage Ceremony

We are delighted to welcome couples and their guests for civil wedding and civil partnership ceremonies here at The Jinney Ring. Ceremonies can take place within the Farmhouse Restaurant building or in our Meeting Room, depending on the time of day and number of guests. The table below provides a guide for these options. The Meeting Room can be available at any time, and the rest of the locations would be suitable for later in the day. It is also possible for your choice of room to be decorated in your own style.

The Craft Centre is situated in the Parish of Hanbury and is served by Hanbury Church which is part of the Bowbrook Group, and located just on the hill above The Jinney Ring. You can contact the Church Warden on 01527 821443

A Jinney Ring Wedding - your choice! The next section covers the different options that The Jinney Ring offers for the Wedding Reception. There are opportunities to mix and match too, so if in doubt please talk to us! For Large and Medium Sized Weddings: 1. Luxury Marquee or Rustic Marquee in the gardens 2. For marquee weddings your timing is unconstrained. You will have the privacy of your own area of the gardens, where our waiting staff will be pleased to greet you with drinks and canapés on arrival. Although the Craft Centre is open 7 days per week until 5pm, you will also have exclusive use of the licensed restaurant building from 6pm onwards.

Option 1: A Marquee in the Gardens

A marquee is an ideal option for wedding parties of 70 guests upwards.

It is specified to meet your own individual style and numbers.

For flexibility, we hire marquees for each occasion. The cost varies depending on the number of guests; level of décor; dance floor; staging; heating etc. So we will work with you to arrange the right setting and price to match your style and budget.

The marquees are size specific to suit guest numbers, and can be decorated to your chosen style and colour scheme. As well as the luxury marquee, there is also a rustic marquee option, which is ideal for a barn dance, and available with or without wooden flooring,.

Within the restaurant we can cater for buffets and table waited service. We have a range of table layout plans, with both rectangular and large round tables available. There are many options for your bar area which can be accessible from the marquee and the restaurant areas.

Option 2: Evening Reception in Ring’s Restaurant

With Courtyard Marquee Extension

The marquee extension is added to the front

entrance of our restaurant building, over the courtyard which has a natural stage area and also a

wishing well.

This does not have the costs of a luxury marquee but does have the style. Numbers are limited to approximately 100 for a sit down meal or 120 for buffet. You would sit down to your wedding breakfast at anytime after 6:15pm. The marquee can be used for a welcome reception on arrival. It is an ideal environment to mingle, perhaps with drinks and canapés and possibly some live music or entertainment. You can opt to take the stress away from your Best Man and run your speeches in this time so that everyone feels able to relax for the meal. Later in the evening the marquee can be used for dancing, and the stage is an ideal area for a DJ or band.

Option 3: An Evening Reception in Ring’s Restaurant

(no marquee)

Our light and airy Conservatory is an ideal reception area for welcome drinks and canapés, and then later in the evening it can become the dance floor with a bar at one end. Your guests will be seated in the main restaurant area for the Wedding Breakfast. The old barn features look beautiful dressed up for the occasion, and we can cater for buffets as well as table waited service.

If you are concerned about keeping your guests entertained between your Wedding ceremony and reception, we can make arrangements for welcome drinks in the gardens at an earlier time, and we have plenty to keep them occupied here at the Craft Centre.

The Craft Centre facilities are available within this option from 5:30pm onwards, and it would be well suited to wedding parties of

50—100 guests.

Option 4: A Conservatory Reception

Our light and airy conservatory makes an fascinating setting for your Wedding Breakfast. There are probably not too many places where your guests can look out over the ponds and watch the antics of the ducks with such ease. This option gives you private use of the conservatory area during the day time for a maximum of 45 guests. There is also the opportunity for a party in the evening if desired .

You will have full private use of the garden marquee and its immediate surrounding area. The marquee can be decorated to your style and colour scheme, and would be suitable for up to about 60 guests.

Option 6: A Private Room Reception

Within our conference room we are able to seat up to 25 guests for an intimate reception. We can provide a fully serviced menu. We can also offer an additional small marquee for a combination reception and meal.

Option 5: A Garden Marquee Reception

The Wedding Breakfast We can offer you a wide selection of choices for each course of your Wedding Breakfast.

There are a myriad of approaches for your Wedding Breakfast menu. From informal barbeques; simple farmhouse food or fine dining dishes. Maybe you choose a basket of specialities, picnic style Or perhaps a menu selection with a special theme. The breakfast can be buffet or table service or a mixture of the two. We cook all of our own food on site from fresh ingredients (local where possible) and our portions are generous and tasty. No-one goes home hungry—we promise. We also cater for children and special diets. We employ all of our own staff and can therefore assure you of good, friendly service, with a smile. Our aim is simply to serve you in a timely, friendly but unobtrusive manner, delivering hot food ’hot’ and cold food ’cold’.

If you would like to give your guests the opportunity to make their own choices, we can provide a menu with a selection of options, either to be pre-ordered or chosen on the day.

How about starting your banquet with canapés and Champagne, or perhaps a refreshing glass of Pimms? This makes a relaxing start to your reception and allows guests to mingle and meet up.

We are famous for our desserts here at The Jinney Ring. Why not choose a selection rather than just one? You choose a trio from our extensive selection—we have never made two the same!

Our Chefs are also excellent cake makers too—if you have a special theme or design in mind please ask us for a quotation—the cakes are creative and TASTY!

We can also put together sumptuous buffet tables, either for your evening guests, or if you prefer a BBQ or Bacon Bap we can provide this too.

Prices vary depending on choice, but we suggest that for budgetary purposes you plan for something in the range of £40—£45 per head for a bespoke 3 course wedding breakfast plus coffee, all table served.

We have a full wine list and bar service to offer and can accommodate either drinks packages or discounted wine sales by the bottle. We do not facilitate corkage. Coffee and Tea can be provided at the end of your meal or by way of a

There are a number of good quality hotels and excellent Bed and Breakfasts very close for both you and your guests, should you need it. Most of these are no more than 10 minutes away from the Craft Centre. Please visit our website for links to these hotels. Taxis and coach services are available locally and cars may be left overnight in our car park at the craft centre. We have ample parking for cars and coaches, and always make sure that your guests are parked easily and guided to their destination.
