It was while Bob Green was working that he suffered a spinal cord injury. Last year, on December 6th, Bob was delivering firewood to a customer. He was only traveling a few miles per hour, when he drove into a dip in the road. The snow- plow hooks on the front of his pick-up truck grabbed a hold of some asphalt, jerking him forward and back. He instantly lost all muscle strength in his arms and legs. Hewas transferred from the emergency room to intensive care, where it was determined he had suffered swelling between (3 and (4 in his neck. Doctors could not saywhether he would make a full recovery, only that he would need extensive therapy. • JIMMY MIRGLIOTTA MASTER OF CEREMONIES • SILENT AUCTION & 50/50 RAFFLE • KARAOKE • CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT (50/50 SPLIT) I • FANTASTIC FOOD & FAVORITE BEVERAGES 'PROVIDED DONATIONS OF "HOMEMADE" AFTER DINNER DESSERTS OR BAKERY GOODS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED. After several months in the hospital and a short stay at a re- hab facility in Akron, Bob was well enough to be transferred to a nursing home/rehab facility in Twinsburg. He spent the next four months, several hours each day in physical and oc- cupational therapy, learning how to walk and regain the use of his arms and legs. Bob was well enough to come home on June 10th of this year. He continues with outpatient therapy and although he has limited use of his hands and arms, he is making proqress by walking with the aid of a walker.
