PREFACE Many Christians are not aware of how to pray properly, according to the guidelines given in the word of God by the Lord Jesus Christ and the Apostles.

This thesis will instruct you on the proper way: “Do everything in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ”.

The personal Name of the Holy Triune God, Yahweh, is not known by most Christians. This thesis will make them aware of this Holy Name, also called the Holy Tetragrammaton-YHWH.

The Name of Jesus, as He was called about 2,000 years ago was not Jesus, but Yeshua – in Hebrew. Yeshua comes from Yahshua, which is derived from “Yahweh is Salvation.” Hence Jesus is also Yahweh, as stated in Jeremiah 23:5-6 – NIV:

“ ‘The days are coming,’ declares the LORD (Yahweh-in Hebrew), ‘when I will raise up to David (from David’s line) a righteous Branch (the Messiah), a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land. In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called:

The LORD (Yahweh-in Hebrew) Our Righteousness (Tsidkenu - in Hebrew).’ ” Scriptures are given to show that the Name of Jesus (Yeshua) is the Name above all names, and Salvation for mankind is only through that Name.

The Name of Yeshua appears a number of times in the Hebrew version of the Old Testament (Tanakh – in Hebrew). Also recent discoveries using computers have shown that the Holy Names of God, Yahweh and Yeshua, were spelt out at equi-distant intervals. This is called Bible Codes.

Chapter 6 gives basic principles of the Gospel of Salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ (Adonai Yeshua Ha Mashiakh). Chapter 7 gives a Prayer for Salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ (Adonai Yeshua Ha Mashiakh). It also has various Daily Prayers which are effective. May the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob— the God of Israel, bless you abundantly, as you read this thesis, dedicated to this Holy Triune God-Yahweh. It is dedicated in thanksgiving for my Salvation by the Grace of God. Praise God for translating me out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God, of Eternal Life. FOREWORD

Moshe Elijah, a born again fulfilled Messianic Jew, worships regularly with Christians in a multi-cultural congregation at Wesley Church, part of Wesley Mission, Pitt Street, Sydney Australia.

His knowledge of the Scriptures of both Old and New

Testaments is extensive. His love of the Saviour is deeply sincere as is his respect for the Holy Name of our Triune God-Yahweh (YHWH). He is quite familiar with the Hebrew language, a fact self evident to the reader.

Christian Holiness of living is central to the author’s

Salvation experience running deeply through these chapters, which he says are “dedicated in thanksgiving for his Salvation by the Grace of God.”

To adequately digest the contents of this written testimony one will refer over and over again to Scriptural reference concerning the character and nature of our Triune God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Moshe’s magnificent obsession is best expressed in

his oft repeated (shall I say favourite?) phrase “Do everything in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, pray, baptise, give thanks and do everything else in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ” based on Col 3:17.

Moshe reminds the reader that wherever the Lord’s

Name appears in Scripture signifying Yahweh (YHWH) it is always printed in capitals in keeping with this magnificence of our Creator’s Name.

CHAPTER 1–GENERAL PRINCIPLES

A. INTRODUCTION

The Bible is the Word of God and is the Word of Truth as stated in John 17:17: (Words spoken by Jesus Christ to God the Father) “Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.” The word of God is like a guiding light for all we do, as expressed by Psalm 119:105: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” As a committed born-again Christian or Messianic Jew, the word of God instructs us to pray, baptise, give thanks and do everything else in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ . In Hebrew it is in the Name of Adonai Yeshua Ha Mashiakh.

B. RELEVANT SCRIPTURES 1. Col 3:17: “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” 2. Eph 5:19-20: “Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.” 10. Act 16:16-18: “Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling. This girl followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, ‘These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.’ She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so troubled that he turned around and said to the spirit, ‘In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!’ At that moment the spirit left her.” 11. Act 19:5 “On hearing this, they were baptised into the name of the Lord Jesus.”

C. THE NAME OF JESUS IS ABOVE ALL NAMES

The Name of the Lord Jesus Christ is highly exalted and is very, very powerful and is above all other names as expressed by the following Scriptures: 1. Phil 2:9-11: “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” 2. Act 4:12: “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”

3. Heb 1:2-4: “But in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.” 4. Eph 1: 19-22: “and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion and every title that can be given not only in

the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.” 5. Rev 19:11,12,16: “I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. … On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:

“KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS”

D. THE NAME OF THE TRIUNE GOD IS YAHWEH

1. BRIEF INTRODUCTION - KJV The Word of God in the KJV instructs us that the Name of the Triune God is Jehovah. However this is incorrect and it should be YHWH – transliteration from the Hebrew, which indicates Yahweh as being the true Name of God as there is no letter J in the Hebrew alphabet, e.g. Joshua should be Yoshua or Yeshua. 2. RELEVANT SCRIPTURES - KJV (a) Ps 83:18: “That men may know that thou, whose name

alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.” (b) Ex 6:3: “And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my

name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.”

(c) Isa 12:2: “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust,

and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.”

(d) Isa 26:4: “Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the

LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.” 3. THE NAME OF THE 3 PERSONS IN THE HOLY TRINITY As the Name of God is Yahweh and as God is three persons in one, then the Names of each person in the Holy Trinity is Yahweh. Hence the Name of God the Father = Yahweh; and the Name of God the Son = Yahweh; and the Name of God the Holy Spirit = Yahweh. Hence the Scripture Matthew 28:19 can be explained as follows: Mt 28:19 (NIV) : “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in (or into – see Galatians 3:27, Acts 8:16, Acts 19:5; Romans 6:3) the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” This Name is one Name for each of the 3 persons in the Triune God, which is Yahweh and it will be shown now that this is the Hebrew Name of Jesus – Yeshua.

E. THE NAME OF JESUS IS REALLY YESHUA

Jesus was not called Jesus when He was on the planet earth, nearly 2000 years ago. His real Name is a Hebrew Name – YESHUA. Yeshua comes from Yahshua, which comes from two words, Yahweh (Name of God) and “Shua”, which is part of a Hebrew word that means SALVATION. Hence Yahshua = “Yahweh is salvation,” or “Yahweh saves (i.e. is Saviour).” RELEVANT SCRIPTURE Mt 1:21 “She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” Hence Yeshua = Yahshua = Yahweh is Salvation = Name of Triune God Hence the Name of the Father and the Name of the Son and the Name of the Holy Spirit is Yahweh, which leads to Yahshua, then to Yeshua, = Jesus.

F. CONCLUDING REMARKS

Thus we see that we pray, baptise, give thanks and do everything else in the Name of Jesus, or to be precise, in His real, correct Name of YESHUA. Also, with prayer, the basic method is to prefix it with “God the Father” or “Heavenly Father” or “Father God”, “in the Name of Yeshua”. For example: “Father God, I come to You in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ” Or: “Father God Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of Israel, the Creator of the Universe, the Almighty and Sovereign King and Ruler of the Universe, I come to You in the Name of the Jewish Messiah, the Holy One of Israel, the Saviour of the world, Adonai Yeshua the Messiah (Lord Jesus Christ) - - - - - etc.”

CHAPTER 2 – MORE INFORMATION ON THE PERSONAL NAME OF GOD

– YAHWEH (YHWH)

A. INTRODUCTION 1. TETRAGRAMMATON YHWH Tetragrammaton – YHWH – translated into YAHWEH, is the personal Name of God, just like Moshe is my personal name. The meaning of Yahweh is given in “2” on page 22. Yahweh appeared first in : Genesis 2:4

“… when the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,”

In Hebrew “L ORD God” is “Yahweh Elohim”. The Name Yahweh appears throughout the Old

Testament. See Chapter 3, where the Name LORD (capitals, with larger L - see comments later) refers to Yahweh, in KJV and many other versions. In some versions LORD is used with all the capital letters of the same size.

Just to whet up your appetite beforehand, here are some examples, which indicates Yahweh was used by the Triune Godhead corporately, as well as by each member individually.

Examples (a) Zechariah 3:2 KJV: Yahweh the Son refers to

Yahweh the Father.

“ And the LORD (Yahweh-in Hebrew) saith unto

Satan, The LORD (Yahweh – Hebrew) rebuke thee,

O Satan, even the LORD (Yahweh — Hebrew) that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee.”

N.B. Capitals are used in the word LORD, with “L” larger, to replace Yahweh, in many translations.

(b) Malachi 3:1 KJV: God the Father was speaking of His coming Son, when He said: -

“And the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come

to His temple …saith the LORD (Yahweh – in Hebrew) of hosts.”

(c) Exodus 3:13-15: KJV: Moses at the burning bush.

“Behold, when I (Moses) come unto the children of Israel, and shall say to them, The God (Elohim-in Hebrew) of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, ‘What is His Name?’ What shall I say unto them? And God (Elohim-in Hebrew) saith unto Moses, ‘I AM THAT I AM (ehyeh asher ehyeh-in Hebrew)’: and He said, ‘Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM (ehyeh - in Hebrew) hath sent me unto you.’ And God (Elohim - in Hebrew) said moreover unto Moses, ‘Thus shalt thou

say unto the children of Israel, The LORD (Yahweh - in Hebrew) God (Elohim - in Hebrew) of your

fathers, the God (Elohim) of Abraham, the God (Elohim) of Isaac, and the God (Elohim) of Jacob, hath sent me unto you; this is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.’ ”

My Comments According to Professor Raymond Scott in “2” of p. 22, the origin of the expression I AM – EHYEH , is exactly the same as that of Yahweh, both Names being derived from the Hebrew verb “to be,” denoting “being” or existence. See “2” on page 22. God was referring to His Name Yahweh, when He declared in the above Scripture, “This is My name forever and this is my memorial unto all generations.” (d) More Relevant scriptures (i) 2 Chronicles 14:11 –KJV

“O Yahweh, thou art our Elohim”

(ii) Genesis 7:5 KJV – with Noah

“And Noah did according unto all that the LORD (Yahweh - in Hebrew) commanded him.”

“That we may know that thou, whose name is

JEHOVAH (Yahweh) art the most high over all the earth.”

(viii) Exodus 33:18-19 NIV - LORD (Yahweh) twice: ‘Then Moses said, ‘Now show me your glory.’

And the LORD (Yahweh – in Hebrew) said, ‘ I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I

will proclaim my name, The LORD (Yahweh- in Hebrew), in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion’. ”

My Comments The personal Name of God is Yahweh. Many bible

versions replace this Name with the word LORD; all

capitals with “L” larger capital. More information relevant to this, will be given below in (2) and also in “B” and in chapter 3.

2. THE MEANING OF THE NAME YAHWEH The author of the book “The Hiding God” is Professor Raymond L. Scott, Professor of Bible and Science at Columbia Bible College. His theological training includes degrees in divinity and church history from Wheaton, doctoral studies at Grace Theological Seminary, plus ten years pastoring in New York, Illinois, and South Carolina. In his book, “The Hiding God”, he explains about the pre-incarnate existence of the Lord Jesus Christ, appearing as the special “Angel of God”, with the Name of Yahweh

(see Chapter 3 of my book – to God be all the glory/credit/thanks). Professor Scott states in his book “The Hiding God”, that the Name “Yahweh” is derived from the Hebrew word “Havah”, “to be” or “being”, which indicates the combination of the following three meanings, viz.: - “ I was,” “I am,” “ I shall (or will) be.” By using this expression as His personal Name, God was declaring that within Himself is essential life and eternal existence. Thus God is the Eternal Living One, who has always existed, and is unchangeable.

4. ANOTHER NAME/TITLE from REVELATIONS 4:8

“Who was, and is, and is to come”

Revelation 4:8 “Holy, holy, holy (3 holies point to Holy Trinity) is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come”. This descriptive title/Name is similar to the meaning of the Name Yahweh, explained in (2) above, viz:

“I was, I am, I shall (or will) be.”


B. LORD USED FOR YAHWEH

In most English Versions of the Bible, the word LORD

(all capitals) is used for Yahweh. In KJV LORD is used,

all capitals with “L” larger size, as with modern editions of NIV, but older Versions of the NIV had all capitals same size.

C. YAH IS ABBREVIATION FOR YAHWEH

This has already been shown above. The world- renowned phrase, “Hallelu Yah,” is abbreviation of “Hallelu Yahweh,” which is “Praise Yahweh”, or “Praise the LORD.”

Another example is Psalm 68:4 – KJV: “Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that

rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH (i.e. YAH – as Hebrew language does not have letter J), and rejoice before him.” The NIV Version replaced Yah with “the LORD” which means Yahweh.

D. Lord = ADONAI The word Lord (capital L with small case “ord”) refers to Adonai, a Hebrew word meaning plural form of Lord, only applied to God Yahweh. However it does not refer to the personal Name of God, Yahweh, directly.

CHAPTER 3 – MORE INFORMATION ON THE NAME OF JESUS BEING YAHWEH (YHWH) - LORD A. PRE-INCARNATE FORM OF JESUS 1. INTRODUCTION Jesus in His preincarnate form is called the Angel of God (Word of God), or the Angel of Yahweh, or Yahweh — in the form of an Angel, who appeared as the spokesperson of God the Father to people on earth, many times. In these Scriptures the Angel of Yahweh has the Name Yahweh. Hence this Angel of Yahweh is God. He is the Almighty, Divine Son of God the Father – that is, the Lord Jesus Christ. EXAMPLES • Visit to Abraham with two angels to discuss Sodom and

Gomorrah • One of the two Divine Beings with the Name Yahweh,

in the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah • The Angel who spoke to Hagar in the wilderness about

the Son) went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.”

NB: In the NIV version the word LORD (Yahweh) is used also, however also in verse 27 (where KJV used Lord). My Comments: The Divine person with the Name Yahweh is Jesus, appearing as an Angel (b) The Two Divine Beings (God The Father and God the Son) with the same Name Yahweh, in the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah

Gen 19:23-24 (NIV): “By the time Lot reached Zoar, the sun had risen over the land. Then the LORD (Yahweh) rained down burning sulphur on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the LORD (Yahweh) out of the heavens.”

The KJV is similar with using the word LORD. My Comment This Scripture confirms the plurality of God with the same Name Yahweh, i.e. both God the Father and God the Son have the same personal Name, Yahweh. (c) Angel of the LORD appears to Hagar

Gen 16:7-8,13: “The angel of the LORD (Yahweh) found Hagar near a spring in the desert; it was the spring that is beside the road to Shur. And he said, “Hagar, servant of Sarai, where have you come from, and where are you going?” She gave this name to the LORD (Yahweh) who spoke to her: ‘You are the God who sees me,’ for she said, ‘I have now seen the One who sees me.’ ”

My Comment The Angel of the LORD (Yahweh) is also God with the Name Yahweh. That is, both God the Father and God the Son have the same Name Yahweh. (d) Angel of the LORD stopped Abraham sacrificing Isaac

Gen 22:11-12,15-17: “But the angel of the LORD (Yahweh) called out to him from heaven, ‘Abraham!

Abraham!’ ‘Here I am,’ he replied. ‘Do not lay a hand on the boy,’ he said. ‘Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me (angel of the LORD) your son, your only son.’ The angel of the LORD (Yahweh) called to Abraham from heaven a second time and said, ‘I swear by myself,’ declares the LORD (Yahweh), ‘that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore.’ ”

My Comments The Angel of the LORD is Jesus, God the Son, whose Name is also Yahweh. He swore by Himself that He will bless Abraham. That is, He spoke with the authority of God Himself. God the Father and God the Son both have the same Name Yahweh. (e) Jacob wrestles with God (i.e. Angel of God – Jesus)

Gen 32:24-28,30: “So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak. When the man saw that he could not overpower him (Jacob), he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. Then the man said, ‘Let me go, for it is daybreak.’ But Jacob replied, ‘I will not let you go unless you bless me.’ The man asked him, ‘What is your name?’ ‘Jacob,’ he answered. Then the man said, ‘Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome.’ So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying,

‘It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.’ ”

My Comment The man implied he was God and changed Jacob’s name to Israel. Jacob called the place Peniel because he said he saw God face to face. The mysterious man was the Angel of Yahweh, Jesus – God the Son. (f) Moses and the burning bush Ex 3:2,4-6: “There (Mount Horeb) the angel of the LORD (Yahweh) appeared to him (Moses) in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. When the LORD (Yahweh) saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, ‘Moses! Moses!’ And Moses said, ‘Here I am.’ ‘Do not come any closer,’ God said. ‘Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.’ Then he said, ‘I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.’ At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.” My Comments The Angel of Yahweh who was in the burning bush is also Yahweh, God. He is Jesus, God the Son, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, one with God the Father. (g) The Angel of the LORD who led the Israelites through the wilderness with the Name of God, Yahweh

Ex 23:20-21: “See, I (God Yahweh) am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since my Name (Yahweh) is in him (Angel of Yahweh).” My Comments The Angel of Yahweh has the Name Yahweh, because He is Jesus, God the Son. (h) The Captain of the LORD of Hosts who appeared to Joshua Jos 5:13-15; 6:2 KJV: “And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, ‘Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?’ And he said, ‘Nay; but as captain of the host (army) of the LORD (Yahweh) am I now come.’ And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, ‘What saith my lord unto his servant?’ And the captain of the LORD'S (Yahweh’s) host said unto Joshua, ‘Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy.’ And Joshua did so. And the LORD (Yahweh) said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.’ ” My Comments This person, Captain of the Host of Yahweh, is the Angel of the LORD Yahweh, with the Name Yahweh. The

ground where Joshua stood was holy because God the Son was there, similar to the holy ground of the burning bush of Moses, filled with the Angel of Yahweh – Jesus, also with the Name of Yahweh. Joshua worshipped Him as God. (i) The Angel of the LORD who appeared to the parents of Samson Jdg 13:15-16; 19-23: “Manoah said to the angel of the LORD (Yahweh), ‘We would like you to stay until we prepare a young goat for you.’ The angel of the LORD (Yahweh) replied, ‘Even though you detain me, I will not eat any of your food. But if you prepare a burnt offering (sacrifice), offer it to the LORD (Yahweh).’ (Manoah did not realize that it was the angel of the LORD.) (That is special angel – God the Son). Then Manoah took a young goat, together with the grain offering, and sacrificed it on a rock to the LORD (Yahweh). And the LORD (Yahweh – i.e. the angel of the LORD is the LORD – God the Son) did an amazing thing while Manoah and his wife watched: As the flame blazed up from the altar towards heaven, the angel of the LORD (Yahweh) ascended in the flame. Seeing this, Manoah and his wife fell with their faces to the ground. When the angel of the LORD (Yahweh) did not show himself again to Manoah and his wife, Manoah realized that it was the (special) angel of the LORD (Yahweh - i.e. God the Son – Jesus). ‘We are doomed to die!’ he said to his wife. ‘We have seen God!’ But his wife answered, ‘If the LORD (Yahweh) had meant to kill us, he would not have accepted a burnt offering and grain offering from our hands, nor shown us all these things or now told us this.’ ”

My Comments The Scripture states that this is the special Angel of God Yahweh with the Name Yahweh – i.e. Jesus, God the Son. Also the fact that He ascended into the flame of fire of the sacrificial burnt offering meant for God, would indicate that He is God, i.e. God the Son, one with God the Father. Manoah realised this and recognised the Deity of the Angel of Yahweh. His wife understood that this Divine Angel of Yahweh – Jesus – had accepted the sacrifice for God by ascending into the flames of fire. (j) The Angel of the LORD who appeared to Gideon Jdg 6:12,14-23: “When the angel of the LORD (Yahweh) appeared to Gideon, he said, ‘The LORD (Yahweh) is with you, mighty warrior.’ The LORD (Yahweh, i.e. Angel of the LORD, is also God; Jesus – God the Son) turned to him and said, ‘Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?’ ‘But Lord,’ Gideon asked, ‘how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.’ The LORD (Yahweh – i.e. the Angel is also LORD) answered, ‘I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites as if they were but one man.’ Gideon replied, ‘If now I have found favour in your eyes, give me a sign that it is really you talking to me. Please do not go away until I come back and bring my offering and set it before you.’ And the LORD (Yahweh – That is the Angel is Divine—Jesus, God Yahweh the Son) said, ‘I will wait until you return.’ Gideon went in, prepared a young goat, and from an ephah of flour he made bread without yeast (matzo). Putting the meat in a basket and its broth in a pot, he brought them out and offered them to

him under the oak. The angel of God said to him, ‘Take the meat and the unleavened bread, place them on this rock, and pour out the broth.’ And Gideon did so. With the tip of the staff that was in his hand, the angel of the LORD (Yahweh) touched the meat and the unleavened bread. Fire flared from the rock, consuming the meat and the bread. And the angel of the LORD (Yahweh) disappeared. When Gideon realized that it was the (special) angel of the LORD (Yahweh), he exclaimed, ‘Ah, Sovereign LORD (Yahweh)! I have seen the angel of the LORD (Yahweh) face to face!’ But the LORD (Yahweh) said to him, “Peace! Do not be afraid. You are not going to die.’ ” My Comments The Angel of the LORD is Divine and has the same Name Yahweh as God. He is the Almighty, Divine Son of God — Jesus, with the same Name as God the Father. It seems Gideon and also Manoah and possibly other people in the Old Testament, knew about God the Father having a Divine Son Jesus with the same Name Yahweh as God the Father. They were scared that they might die having seen the Divine Son of God face to face, as also with Jacob.

B. THE NAME OF THE MESSIAH IN THE OLD TESTAMENT IS YAHWEH (YHWH)

1. INTRODUCTION There are Messianic prophecies in the Old Testament which declare the Deity of the Messiah by stating His Name as Yahweh.

2. RELEVANT SCRIPTURE Jer 23:5-6: “ ‘The days are coming,’ declares the LORD (Yahweh – God the Father), ‘when I will raise up to David (i.e. up from David’s line) a righteous Branch (Messiah), a King (future King of Israel) who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land. In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called: The LORD (Yahweh – God the Son) Our Righteousness (Tsidkenu in Hebrew).’ ” My Comment This is a Messianic prophecy pointing to the Deity of Messiah Jesus and that His Name is Yahweh. 3. HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL, REDEEMER, SAVIOUR These are titles of Messiah of Israel. Here are some scriptures with these titles: (a) Isa 43:3: “For I am the LORD (Yahweh), your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour;…” (b) Isa 43:11: “I, even I, am the LORD (Yahweh), and apart from me there is no saviour.” (c) Isa 44:6 KJV “Thus saith the LORD (Yahweh) the King of Israel (Messiah), and his Redeemer the LORD (Yahweh) of hosts (God the Father); ‘I am the first (alpha), and I am the last (omega); and besides me there is no God.’ ”

My Comment KJV is used here to show two Divine Beings with the same Name Yahweh. Compare this with Rev 1:8 and Jn 10:30 (d) Isa 49:7 “Thus saith the LORD (Yahweh), the

Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One (the Messiah, the second divine person), to him whom man despiseth, to

him whom the nation abhorreth (describing the despised and rejected Messiah, as described in Isaiah 53, which points to Yeshua – Jesus), to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD (Yahweh – God the Father) that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel (That is the Messiah), and He shall choose thee.” My Comments In this Scripture, two LORDS (Yahweh) are mentioned, the second one being called the Holy One of Israel, who is despised by man, that is the Messiah mentioned in Isaiah 53. The Holy One is also mentioned in Psalm 16:10, describing the resurrection of the Messiah from the dead. This is indicated below. (e) Ps 16:10: KJV “For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One (Messiah) to see corruption.” My Comment See above.

(f) Zec 12:8-10: “On that day the LORD (Yahweh the Messiah – Second Coming) will shield those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the Angel of the LORD (Yahweh the Son – Messiah) going before them. On that day I (LORD - Yahweh the Son) will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem. And I (Yahweh – God the Son, Messiah Yeshua) will pour out on the house of David And the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit (Holy Spirit) of grace and supplication. They will look on me (Yahweh, Son of God – the Messiah), the one they have pierced (the crucified Messiah at His First Coming), and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.” My Comment This Scripture describes the Second Coming of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) at Armageddon to save Israel from all her enemies. It declares the Deity of Jesus and His Name, Yahweh. (g) Zec 2:10-11: “ ‘Shout and be glad, O Daughter of Zion (Israel). For I (Messiah Yeshua – Jesus – Second Coming) am coming, and I will live among you (as King of Israel during the Millennial reign of Messiah Jesus – Yeshua),’ declares the LORD (Yahweh the Son

– Yeshua). ‘Many nations (gentiles) will be joined with the LORD (Yahweh, the Messiah Jesus) in that day and will become my people (Christians – children of God). I (Yahweh the Messiah) will live among you (Jews, in Israel, as King of Israel) and you (Jews) will

know that the LORD Almighty (Yahweh God the Father) has sent me (Yahweh the Son – Messiah Jesus) to you (Jews in Israel during millennial reign of Messiah Jesus from Jerusalem).’ ”

My Comments This Scripture prophesies the Second Coming of the Messiah Jesus, whose Name is Deity Yahweh, to Israel to live among the Jews during the forthcoming Millennium of peace. Many gentile nations will be joined to the Messiah. The Messiah will be King of Israel, as prophesied by Isaiah 9:6-7 and Emperor of the world. His Throne will be in Jerusalem as stated by: (h) Jeremiah 3:17: “At that time they will call Jerusalem the Throne of the LORD (Yahweh the Son – Jesus), and all nations will gather in Jerusalem to honour the name of the LORD (Yahweh - the Messiah Yeshua).” See also Zechariah 6:12-15, Isaiah 2:1-5 and Zechariah 14:(8-9), 11, (16-17). (i) Ps 102:13,16,18: “You (Yahweh Jesus) will arise and have compassion on Zion (Israel), for it is time to show favour to her; the appointed time has come (this present generation). For the LORD (Yahweh - the Messiah Yeshua) will rebuild Zion (Israel) and appear in his glory (Second Coming of Messiah Jesus in glorified form of deity). Let this be written for a future (last) generation, that a people not yet created may praise the LORD (Yahweh - the Messiah Yeshua): …”

My Comments The Nation of Israel was reborn in 1948 by the Hand of God. It was a desolate land of barrenness and swamps. God helped the Jews to rebuild and cultivate the land (see Ezekiel 36:20-38). Israel is now the third or fourth biggest exporter of fruits and flowers to the whole world. There are a number of prophecies about this. The Second Coming of Messiah Jesus will occur as stated by Psalm 102:13,16,18. The Hebrew word for “future” in verse 18 is “acharon” – that is “Ledor acharon” for “future generation.” The literal translation is “last generation.” This means that when Israel is reborn (in our generation), this is the last generation and the Second Coming will occur in this (our) generation. (j ) Zec 14:3-4 KJV: “Then shall the LORD (Yahweh) go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.” My Comment This is another Scripture about the Second Coming of Messiah Jesus, with the Name of Deity (Yahweh), to the Mount of Olives, Jerusalem. This fulfils the prophecy of Acts 1:9-12.

(k) Isa 48:16-17 KJV: “Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me. Thus saith the LORD (Yahweh), thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel (God the Son-Messiah Jesus); I am the LORD (Yahweh) thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.”

My Comment This Scripture is about The Holy Trinity. It also gives the Name Yahweh for at least one of the Divine Beings.

CHAPTER 4 – THE NAME OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS ALSO YAHWEH

A. INTRODUCTION Almighty God Yahweh is Triune . The Third Person of the Holy Trinity is the Holy Spirit – a Divine Being and not an impersonal force. The Hebrew translation of “The Holy Spirit” is “Ruach Ha Kodesh”. His personal Name is also Yahweh. B. RELEVANT SCRIPTURES 1. Isa 6:3 KJV: “And one cried unto another, and

said, ‘Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD (Yahweh) of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.’ ”

My Comment Three holies are spoken, pointing to The Holy Trinity, with one Name Yahweh. 2. Rev 4:8 KJV: “And the four beasts had each of

them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, ‘Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.’ ”

My Comment This is similar to the above.

Gen 11:6-7 KJV: “And the LORD (Yahweh) said, ‘Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech’. ”

My Comment The plural pronoun “us” is used to indicate the plural Trinity in God Yahweh. Only one Name Yahweh is used. Thus it can be assumed that the Name of The Holy Spirit is also Yahweh. 4. Mt 28:19 KJV: “Go ye therefore, and teach all

nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, …”

My Comments This Name is one Name, which is Yahweh or Yeshua. Yeshua is “Yahweh is Salvation”. Hence the Name comes back to Yahweh. NB in Acts 2:38, Peter said “Repent and be baptised every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ (Yahweh the Messiah) for the remission of sins”. Hence Yeshua (Yahweh is Salvation) is the Name of the Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit – that is Yahweh.

CHAPTER 5 – THE NAME OF YESHUA IN THE OLD TESTAMENT

(TANAKH IN HEBREW)

A. INTRODUCTION

The Hebrew Name of Jesus is Yeshua and is mentioned scores of times in the Tanakh (Hebrew for Old Testament) from Genesis to Habakkuk. The word Yeshua is Hebrew for:

a) Salvation b) Yahweh is Salvation (which implies Yahweh is

Saviour) B. NEW TESTAMENT ANALYSIS First let us look at the New Testament Scriptures; for example, when the angel Gabriel told Mary to call her son “Yeshua.” 1. Lk 1:31 “You will be with child and give birth to a

son, and you are to give him the name Jesus (Yeshua).”

2. Mt 1:20-21: “But after he had considered this, an

angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, ‘Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus (Yeshua), because he will save his people from their sins.’ ”

3. Lk 2:25-32: “Now there was a man in Jerusalem

called Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. Moved by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. When the parents brought in the child Jesus (Yeshua) to do for him what the custom of the Law required, Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying: ‘Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation (Yeshua), which you have prepared in the sight of all people, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel.’ ”

C. OLD TESTAMENT ANALYSIS Now let us look at a translation of the Hebrew text of the Jewish Masoretic Version of the Tenakh (similar to KJV): 1. Habakkuk 3:13: “You went forth with the Yeshua of

your people; with Yeshua your Messiah (Anointed One); you wound the head of the house of the wicked one (i.e. Satan).”

2. Isaiah 62:11: “Behold Yahweh (Jehovah) has

proclaimed unto the end of the world, ‘say to the daughter of Zion, Behold your Yeshua (Salvation) comes; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him’. ”

My Comment Here Yeshua (Salvation) is a Person and not a thing or happening. Consider the pronoun used: “Your Yeshua comes; His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.” 3. Isaiah 12:2-4: “behold, mighty is my Yeshua; I will

trust and not be afraid; for Yah Yahweh (Jah Jehovah) is my strength and my song; He (Yahweh God) is become my Yeshua. (compare with John 1:14 – “and the word became flesh (Immanuel) and dwelt among us.” God the Son came to earth with a human body, as the Lamb of God, to bring Salvation to mankind. See also John 1:4, 9, 12-13). Therefore with joy shall you draw water out of the wells of Yeshua (Salvation).”

My Comment Messiah Yeshua declared that those who believe in Him would receive rivers of living waters from Him (see later). 4. Genesis 49:18: “I (Jacob) am looking, O Lord, to

your Yeshua.” My Comments There are many other Scriptures in the Old Testament which indicate that the Name of the forthcoming Messiah was Yeshua, which means “Salvation” or it is an

abbreviation of “Yahshua” which means Yahweh is Salvation, implying “Yahweh is Saviour.” Many orthodox Jews, who do not believe in Jesus, call their forthcoming Messiah “Yeshua” which seems to refer to the above Scriptures.

and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life.’ ”

(d) Rev 22:1,17: “Then the angel showed me the river of

the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and

(e) Other Similar Scriptures from both the New and Old Testaments are: Revelation 7:17; Psalm 65:9; Jeremiah 2:13, 17:13. E. THE BIBLE CODE SHOWING THE NAME OF YESHUA IN THE OLD TESTAMENT 1. INTRODUCTION

Gentile, Jewish and Messianic Jewish scholars have discovered, using computers, though initially without computers, that in the Hebrew Script of the Tanakh, Old Testament, the Holy Names of God, Yahweh and Yeshua, were spelt out at equidistant intervals. 2. EXAMPLES

(a) Yahweh: In Verse 1 of the Book of Leviticus, the Name of Yahweh is spelt out at intervals of 8 letters. (i) The English reads:

“And YHWH (Yahweh) called Moses, and spoke to

him from the Tent of Meeting saying…”

“Veyikra el mosheh veidaber YHWH elaiv m’ohel mo’ed le’mor.”

(iii) Refer to the Hebrew Script: This is shown below, which reads from right to left.

Starting from the very first “yod” – Hebrew letter for Y – which is the second letter of the verse, and spaced out at intervals of eight, is the sacred Name of YHWH (Yahweh).

(b) Y’SHUA is My Name = Y’shua Shmi Y’shua is another way of writing Yeshua. “Y’shua Shmi” is the Hebrew translation of “Y’shua is MY Name.” This is encoded at 20 letter intervals in the text of Isaiah 53:10 in the Hebrew Script.

(i) Isaiah 53:10 – in English:

“But it was the will of YHWH to crush Him and to put Him to grief; and though YHWH makes His life a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, and prolong His days, and the will of YHWH will prosper in His hand.”

My Comment: The equidistant words and phrases are not a result of pure coincidence, as this would be a one in a trillion or more chance. Also this phenomenon does not exist in any literature outside of the Bible. Hence this indicates the Hand of God. Only God, with His infinite intelligence, with an I.Q. of over a trillion times that of Einstein, could have inspired the Scriptures with his supernatural equidistant sequences. Yacov Rambsel, in his book “His Name is Jesus,” with the subtitles “The Mysterious Yeshua Codes,” states Yeshua is encoded in virtually every Messianic prophecy in the Hebrew Old Testament. The name Yeshua uses the Hebrew letters –Yod, Shin Wav, Ayin i.e. (Y)(SH)(U)(A) in transliteration.

(ii) Isaiah 52:13 to 53:12 Yacov Rambsel discovered in this major Messianic prophecy, fifteen verses of Hebrew Scripture, the encoded Hebrew names of Y’shua, Messiah, Nazarene, Atonement-Lamb, Passover Bread, and others. (iii) Genesis 22:8

“God will provide for Himself the Lamb for the burnt offering.” Starting with the Hebrew letter SHIN(SH) in the

second last word, the first letter of every nineteenth word spells out YSHUA (Yod, Shin, Wav, Ayin – in Hebrew). The amazing phenomenon of left to right as well as right to left reading occurs. (a) The Old Testament is really the authentic Word of God, inspired by The Holy Spirit. (b) God is infinitely intelligent, with an I.Q. of over a trillion times that of Einstein’s I.Q.. (c) Yeshua is the real Name of Jesus and He is the

Lamb of God, Messiah, and Saviour of the world and Divine Son of God.

(d) The New Testament Gospels and Epistles are a

true account of the Gospel of Salvation of Yeshua the Messiah.

CHAPTER 6 – SALVATION ONLY THROUGH MESSIAH YESHUA (JESUS CHRIST)

A. SALVATION Salvation, as will be explained later, is by the Grace of God (unmerited favour) through faith in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus). There is no other way to be saved. This is indicated by the following Scriptures: 1. Acts 4:12: “Salvation is found in no one else, for

there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”

2. Jn 14:6: “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the

truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’ ”

3. Jn 3:16,36: “For God so loved the world that he gave

his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.”

4. 1 Jn 5:11,12: “And this is the testimony: God has

given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”

B. PRINCIPLES OF SALVATION – (KJV used) Salvation is the Blessing of God, which includes Peace with God, a favourable relationship with Him and Everlasting Life in Heaven. It is freely given. It requires repentance, obeying the Will of God, on our part, with genuine faith in Messiah Yeshua. Faith has a component of obedience as indicated by Romans 1:5. Blessings and curses depend on whether one obeys or disobeys God, as stated in Deuteronomy 30:19-20 by the prophet Moses: “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. That thou mayest love the Lord thy God and that thou mayest obey His voice (which is expressed in the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments) and that thou mayest cleave unto Him: for He is thy life and the length of thy days”. (Note in the New Testament Jesus said, “I am the life” – see John 11:25; 14:6). Thus if one desires Blessings and Eternal Life, one must obey God. A personal, favourable relationship and fellowship with God will bring you His abundant life of peace, meaning, happiness, purpose, joy and other manifold blessings. However, according to Isaiah 59:2; “But your iniquities (sins) have separated between you and your God.” Sin (the transgression of breaking of God’s Laws and commandments as expressed in the Bible), separates you from a personal relationship with God, and His abundant

life. Now man was created to have a favourable fellowship with God (just like Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, in the beginning). But man stubbornly chose to go his own independent way, to “do his own thing.” This self-will, expressed by either active rebellion, or passive indifference, towards God, is an evidence of what the Bible calls “SIN.” Some examples of sin are: adultery, hate, lies, stealing, witchcraft, cruelty, unforgiveness, idolatry, involvement in the occult, pride, selfishness, etc, etc. Not only does sin separate you from God, it also causes spiritual death, according to Ezekiel 18:4; “The soul that sinneth, it shall die (spiritual death, with end result in HELL, Hades, Gehenna)”. The earthly results of sin are: guilt, lack of peace, frustration, unhappiness, lack of purpose, depression, etc, etc. Everyone has sinned, according to 1 Kings 8:46; “For there is NO man that sinneth not.” Also Psalm 53:2-3 states: “God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good; no, not one.” Are you, reader, willing to admit that you have sinned? What can you do to remove your sin? Well you cannot remove sin by your own human efforts, not even by your own self-righteousness (such as by outweighing your bad

deeds by your good deeds, including religious works, human philosophies, etc). Man’s self-righteousness is as “filthy rags” in the sight of a HOLY God, according to Isaiah 64:6; “All of our righteousnesses are as filthy rags!” Well, sin can be removed by FAITH (which means believing what God says, and acting correspondingly). Righteousness (right-standing-with-God) comes by FAITH placed in the “BLOOD OF ATONEMENT” (“ATONEMENT means a “COVERING” for Sin), according to Leviticus 17:11, which states: “For it is the BLOOD that maketh an atonement (covering) for the soul.” The animal sacrifices on the altar, mentioned throughout the Old Testament, provided the BLOOD OF ATONEMENT, for the covering of sins, acceptable to God. Some examples are given below: C. EXAMPLES OF ATONEMENT IN THE OLD TESTAMENT – (KJV used)

1. Genesis 4:4; “And Abel, he also brought of the

firstlings of his flock”

This was Atonement for a man. 2. Exodus 12:13; “when I see the BLOOD, I will pass

over you,”

My Comments This was PASSOVER, ATONEMENT for a family, the night before the Jews left Egypt, when each family was commanded by God, through the prophet Moses, to kill a lamb (without blemish) and sprinkle the BLOOD on the door of the house. Thus when the “angel of death” saw the BLOOD, he “PASSED OVER” the house and did not kill or plague anybody in the house, while with the Egyptian families, all of the firstborn were killed. 3. Leviticus 16:15-17; “Then he (Aaron, brother of

Moses) shall kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the veil … and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat… And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: … And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he (Aaron) goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel”.

Some other Verses in this chapter are: Verse 27; “And the bullock for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin offering whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place …” Verse 30; “For on that day (Yom Kippur) shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.”

Verse 34; “And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year (on Yom Kippur) …” My Comments This was the yearly “Yom Kippur” Day of Atonement for the whole nation of Israel. All the animal sacrifices pointed to the Atoning Sacrifice of Messiah Yeshua, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world as John the Baptist said in John 1:29 KJV, when he said, “Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world.” The animal sacrifices were a foreshadow of the only true sacrifice for the Atonement of sins through Messiah Yeshua (that is, the Lord Jesus Christ). D. ATONEMENT through the Shed BLOOD OF THE

MESSIAH – (KJV used except for Psalm 49:(7-9) )

However, today, for all who believe, God has provided the BLOOD OF ATONEMENT through the perfect Sacrifice of the unblemished, sinless LAMB of God, the Messiah, the “Anointed” One, according to Isaiah 53:5-6, which states: “But He (the Messiah, the righteous servant of God, the Holy One of Israel) was wounded for our transgressions (breakages of God’s Laws), He was bruised for our iniquities (sins): the chastisement (punishment) of our

peace (for our welfare) was upon Him; and with his stripes (wounds, BLOOD), we are healed (atoned for). All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way (that is “doing our own thing”); and the LORD(Yahweh) hath laid on Him (the Messiah) the iniquity (sins) of us all.”

Other verses in Isaiah Chapter 53 are: Verse 10: “… when thou shalt make His soul an offering for sin …” Verse 11: “… shall My righteous Servant (the Messiah) justify (make just as if he had never sinned) many; for he shall bear their iniquities (sins).” However the Messiah arose from the dead on the third day, according to Psalm 16:10, and then went to sit at the right hand of God, according to Psalm 110:1, and also in the New Testament in Mark 16:19. Now, you may ask, why cannot any human being be used as a human sacrifice for a sin offering? Well, this is impossible as man is basically sinful and there is not a single person who is sinless except the Messiah, The Holy One of Israel. The relevant scripture is: Ps 49:7-9 – NIV “No man can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for him - the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough - that he should live on forever and not see decay.”

It required an unblemished, sinless person to be sacrificed for a sin offering, to bear the sins of people. That was the mission of the Messiah, to save the world from the power of sin and to reconcile man back to a favourable relationship with God. This can only be done through Messiah Yeshua, just like when He said: John 14:6 “I am the way, the TRUTH and the life. No man cometh unto the Father (God the Father) but by ME.” It is interesting to note that the Hebrew word Yeshua means “Salvation” and also “Yahweh is Salvation”. Incidentally the word “Christ” came from the Greek word “Kristos”, meaning “Messiah”, or “The Anointed One”. Now soon after the crucifixion and atoning death of Messiah Yeshua, the Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed (70 A.D.) thus making the atoning animal sacrifices (such as, for example, Yom Kippur) on the altar of the Temple, impossible. This was caused to happen by God, as the BLOOD of ATONEMENT of Messiah Yeshua is sufficient once and for all time, making Temple Sacrifices redundant. The animal sacrifices were a foreshadow of the only true Sacrifice for the Atonement of Sins through Messiah Yeshua (that is, the Lord Jesus Christ). See above for further explanation in C. If a person (Jew or Gentile) repents from his sins and renounces all works of darkness, and accepts Yeshua (Jesus) as his LORD God, Messiah and Saviour, as the King of his heart (to be Christ-centred and not self-centred) with believing faith, then the LORD GOD will

cleanse him from his sins, give him a new heart, fill him with The Holy Spirit to reconcile him in peace with God. This gives him a personal and favourable relationship with God, with The Holy Spirit living in his heart, giving him Eternal Life and making him a partaker of God’s Divine Nature and Life. Thus when a Jew meets God’s requirements concerning Messiah Yeshua, he completes his Judaism, and becomes a fulfilled, completed Jew, by gaining the BLOOD of Atonement, the Messiah, and a very personal and favourable relationship with God. God’s Holy Spirit then enters his life and he receives Eternal Life. Thus his sins are forgiven and cleansed through the sacrificial, atoning BLOOD of the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) and he is reconciled to God in peace – becoming an anointed, favoured, child of God. CHAPTER 7 – PRAYER FOR SALVATION TO RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE, WITH SINS FORGIVEN

A. INTRODUCTION

If after reading this thesis, you believe in Yeshua HaMashiakh (Jesus Christ), the Almighty Son of God, and would like to receive Him as your Lord and Saviour, and thus appropriate the Blessings of God; all your sins forgiven, your conscience cleansed, peace with God and the attainment of Eternal Life in Heaven, and all the other promises of God mentioned in the Bible, then say the following prayer: B. PRAYER FOR SALVATION “Dear Lord Yeshua HaMashiakh (Jesus Christ), the Almighty Son of God, I believe You died on the cross near Jerusalem for the atonement of my sins, and that You rose from the dead, on the third day. I accept and receive You, by Your Holy Spirit, into my heart and life as my Lord and Saviour. Please forgive all my sins and transgressions and cleanse me from all unrighteousness with the Atoning Power of Your shed BLOOD on the Cross. I repent of, and turn away from all my sins and wrongful attitudes. I now turn to You to create in me, through the power of Your Holy Spirit, a life of obedience, love and holiness. I forgive everyone who has ever done me wrong, including those who provoked me to anger and resentment. I renounce all powers of darkness.

My Comments In this very important priestly blessing, instructed by the God of Israel to Moses, the personal Name of God, Yahweh, is put upon people three times, to bless them.

The Name Yahweh is the Name of the Holy Triune God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Three Persons in the Godhead. The Priestly Blessing points to The Holy Trinity.

Yahweh is a very Holy Name and the most powerful Name in the Universe, with its compound Name Yeshua (Yahweh is Salvation). By using the Name of God three times to bless people, would they get a triple blessing?

1.MENORAH

The Menorah points to the seven spirits of God, The Holy Spirit, as well as Messiah Yeshua. The Light from it points to Messiah Yeshua as the Light of the world. Relevant Scriptures are: Zech 4:2-6,10; Rev 1:4, (11-13), 16,20; 2:1; 3:1; 4:5; 5:6.

2. SHOFAR

The Shofar is a ram’s horn, pointing to the ram caught in the thicket by Abraham as a substitute sacrifice instead of Isaac.

G. APPENDIX 2: THE IMPORTANCE OF GOD’S HOLY NAME, YAHWEH 1. INTRODUCTION The Bible, in both the Old and New Testaments, both being the inspired Word of God, instructs us that the personal Name of God, Yahweh, is Holy, and is to be praised, respected, honoured and known. It is not to be used discourteously, or in vain as indicated in the 10 Commandments. It is a strong tower for the righteous. It is God’s Name forever, from generation to generation.

However, the vast majority of Christians is not aware of the above, due to a lack of teaching on this subject in the Bible Colleges and Churches.

Finally, the 144,000 and the glorified saints of God will have His Holy Name on their foreheads, as stated in the Book of Revelation 13:12; 14:1; 22:3.

Remember also that Yeshua is derived from Yahweh.

My Comments

There are many pagan “gods” with their identifying names. Even the devil is called “the god of this world” (2 Cor 4:4); “the prince of the power of the air” (Eph 2:2); “the prince of this world” (John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11); “the prince of darkness” (Eph 6:12). Fallen angels are called “rulers of the darkness of this world” (Eph 6:12).

However, there is only one true Almighty Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent, “Creator” God, who created the universe, including stars, planets, angels, mankind, animals, insects, fowls, fish, and everything else in the universe – visible and invisible.

His personal Name is YahwehHis personal Name is YahwehHis personal Name is YahwehHis personal Name is Yahweh.... Hence by using His Name, we specify the true and only Sovereign Creator God, from all the other “false” gods. God has said he wants His Name to be known, praised and honoured.

The other important Name is Yeshua (derived from Yahweh), the Name of the Messiah, the Second Person of the Holy Triune God Yahweh.

H. APPENDIX 3: SOME INTERESTING PRAYERS 1. INTRODUCTION These prayers, written by me and inspired by Adonai Yeshua Ha Mashiakh (the Lord Jesus Christ), are an expanded version of the prayers Adonai Yeshua gave me many years ago, which were very effective and greatly blessed many people.

These people told me they applied the prayers regularly for themselves, relatives and friends, for protection; deliverance from curses, witchcraft and bondages; for divine healing, sanctification, divine providence of needs, and forgiveness; for deliverance from oppression and strongholds; and for many other blessings of God.

They repeatedly told me of various blessings received through these comprehensive prayers.

It is important to emphasize the need to come to God with a pure heart and holiness, as stated by the following Scriptures, to get your prayers answered.

(b) The Need to Forgive Adonai Yeshua Ha Mashiakh (Lord Jesus Christ) commands us (this is not an option) to forgive everybody who have sinned against us. The Lord gave the grave warning that unforgiveness towards others is a very serious sin, and will stop God from forgiving the sins of the unforgiving professing Christian. “Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.”

(ii) Matthew 6:(14-15) Just after the Lord’s Prayer

It really works and will bless people to soar like eagles into the heavenly places with Christ (Ephesians 2:6; Isaiah 40:31), receiving the joy of salvation abundantly (John 10:10).

People need to forgive with their whole heart. Christ commanded us to not only love our neighbours but also our enemies.

Many people have great difficulty to be delivered from a subconscious feeling (discernment of the spirit) of resentment of different degrees. It seems to nag the person, and is difficult to shake off.

This is an indication that forgiveness may not be 100% wholeheartedly.

However by praying the forgiveness prayer of Christ and Stephen, just before they died, it seems that the power of God comes down with great anointing, to make the prayer of forgiveness effective and delivers the person from the remaining traces of resentment. Try it and see for yourself.

Lord please deliver me from all curses and witchcraft and the power of negative words, spoken and written, and made in whatever form against me. I . EPILOGUE 1 – Don Stanton

I have found brother Moshe’s book “Jesus – The Name above all Names (Yeshua, Yahweh)” interesting and informative. I rejoice to know that brother Moshe is proclaiming the Name of Yahweh, “The Eternal One”. There has been such a lack of teaching in the Church, of the Names of Yahweh and Yeshua. My prayer is that every believer will come to know, and to greatly love, the sacred Names. In Numbers 6:(24-27), the priests of the LORD (Yahweh) are commanded to bless the people in the Name of Yahweh. To do so, we need to know the Name of Yahweh and the power of His Name, even as we know the power of the Name Yeshua, with the first letter “Y” standing for Yahweh. J. EPILOGUE 2 – Canon Jim Glennon AM Moshe Elijah is a remarkable man and he has written a remarkable book. It is a bridge between the Old and the New Testaments written by someone who has journeyed through them both. His deep cultural understanding of the Jewish Faith has been enlivened and enlightened by his acceptance of Jesus as Messiah and Saviour. It can be said that only a Messianic Jew can truly understand the Biblical revelation in its fullness. This means that there is something in the book for Jew and Christian alike. So often we have the attitude that we have arrived and we rest content with our few snippets of truth. But we are to count it not that we have apprehended but press towards the mark. Patient study will reward the reader who wishes to go further in seeking the truth. As we know more of the Truth we are increasingly made free to be the person God wants us to be. Read on.
