Minneapolis Community & Technical College Library Group Work Peer Evaluation Use this form to evaluate each member of your group. These evaluations will be confidential, and will not be disclosed to your colleagues. They will be used as a multiplier against the group grade for assigning individual grades. When used as the multiplier in combination with the assignment rubric, a rating of 10 is considered 100%, 1 is considered 10%. Thus, an average score here of 9 would mean that the points awarded on the assignment would be multiplied by 90% or .9 to determine the final assignment grade. If the group’s grade on an assignment was 10 points but for whatever reason an individual only received an average peer evaluation score of 5 for the group work, that individual would receive an assignment grade of 5/10 points (10 x 50% = 5) I expect everyone to make a good faith contribution to his or her group and participate in a mutually agreeable way. If you feel unable to give a colleague a score of 10, Active participation, please add a comment to help me understand the situation. Failure to turn in evaluations of your colleagues will cause your assignment grade to be lowered by 3 points [If your group earned 10 points on the assignment, but you didn’t turn in the peer evaluations, your maximum grade for the assignment will be 7 points (10-3 = 7)].
