Keep Calm and Plan Events is a twice monthly
eNewsletter that shares news and ideas for
corporate event planners., sponsored by micenet
Magazine and EventConnect.com.
Keep Calm is a visual concept – keeping in the
same lines as the “keep calm” slogans that are
often used around the world. We devised our
own crown though retained the same layout
principles. The marketing plan around this
concept was that it would be noticeable from
a distance on stands and t-shirts, as well as be
applicable to a range of products and services
that can be utilized within the newsletter
content.
Marketing responsibilities:
• Concept, design and application of the
“Keep Calm” brand name and visuals.

Social Mediawww.facebook.com | twitter.com
instagram.com | LinkedIn.com
Through the technological segway from print,
to multimedia and social media, it has been
an interesting road to convince “old school
operators” and those who doubted the power,
voice and reach of social media, to convert their
time and energy in to the medium. My most
recent breakthrough as been Blenheim Volunteer
Fire Brigade, where social media is considered
shakey ground if not handled correctly.
I have created applicable social media branding
that is versatile and can be used cross platform
in to associated social media accounts., as well
as print media. I am well versed in Facebook,
Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. I have the
skill and knowledge to create written, graphic
and video content within the parametres of
corportate guidelines and media releases for the
pages I represent.
Some pages that I administrate, create content,
answer enquiries and perform conflict resolution
for are:
