SENIOR PROJECT GEOLOGIST

Managed a portfolio of 38 sites under the jurisdiction of multiple agencies from Los Angeles to San Diego with an annual budget of 1.2 million. Acted as the professional geologist and client and regulatory liaison for all of the sites in the portfolio.

Managed a team of employees to ensure each site was compliant with all regulations, reporting requirements and field and safety protocols. Obtained an environmental case closure rate of over 50% within three years.

Collected and interpreted all analytical data and determined future scopes of work based on data interpretation and site budget.

Created annual budgets for each site and tracked profit and loss for each site and the portfolio. Maintained at least a 15% profit margin on a portfolio of up to 1.5M annually.

Created RFP submittals and assisted in building the business from a 20 person firm to over 200 employees with sales growing from $10MM to $40MM annually.

Supervised all subcontractors and provided field support to junior staff. Assisted in the hiring and mentoring of junior staff and maintained a perfect safety record. Modeled the fate and transport of contaminants and calculated estimated time of impact to known

sensitive receptors. Determined the remediation strategy for each site. Conducted feasibility testing of each remedial

strategy and oversaw the engineering of each remediation system. Created or reviewed every technical report for every site. Experienced with the creation of every

type of report from investigation work plans to case closure requests and everything in between. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
