Job Description:
Civil/Structural design calculations. Civil/Structural
engineering plans, design, and layout. Civil/Structural project
specifications. Cost and Quantities estimation for Civil/Structural
works.
Essential Functions:Responsibilities will include but not be
limited to the following: Perform structural design and analysis
calculations using governing codes andstandards, standard
engineering practices and experience of Water
RetainingStructures.
Provide drawing for designs and produce sketches for drawings
developed byDesigners/Drafters. Research design options and
document findings for project lead engineer. Review drawings.
Assume the lead engineers role on assigned projects. Develop
probable construction cost estimates for his/her projects within
thedepartment. May direct and supervise other Designers/Drafters
activities. Coordinate work with other disciplines such as
architectural, mechanical, electrical,etc Perform field activities
such as observe and record existing field conditions, takeand
verify measurements within project area. Organize, draft, and
coordinate technical documents. Capable and experienced in managing
and performing projects in a fast paced
environment.
Desired field Experience: Working experience in Water and
Wastewater sector. Knowledge of STAAD and Autocad.
Target Companies: AECOM, Degramont, ATKINS, HYDER, LBG, L&T
etc.
