Step 4 :Ask someone to th ink o f a number between 1 and 10 .You can handle the r e ve a l o f the pr e d 1c t 1o n a few d i f f e r e nt wa ys here .I woul d have a notebook open maybe with a cheat sheet o f your differentnicknames and the i r r e spe ctive p redictions (if you haven 't me morizedthem ) . Beforehand you could have pre written s cme t h r nq like " You selected .. . "This would allow you to do some double wrlting . So when they say t ha tthey 're th lnking o f the number 5 you write 5 after the " Youselected .. . " On the index card you wrlte the a ppropriate nickname o fthe YouTube account you wa nt them to go to , which has your respect i veprediction .

Then you co uld r i p out the pa ge and hand I t out to the au d ience whi l eyou pa l m the i nde x c a r d wi t h the predlctlon . Again , thlS method is not as clean in working as the previous 2 methodsbut the e ffect is very close . And there may be times when this 1S themost appropriate method to use . I wlll let you be the ultimate judge .
