BIOI am is a singer songwriter from the Sutherland Shire in Sydney. I ampassionate about songwriting and love creating a real vibe with my music.My songs tend to be on the darker side mostly and try to write about topicsthat really connect with the audience. I have moved through many genresover the years from rock, grunge, blues, folk and now country. I love tocraft songs and have had some co-writes with some well know Australiansongwriters, and I am now writing songs for other artist to use on theiralbums. I am performing around Sydney and Tamworth my new alt countryset of songs is getting some great feedback form punters and industrypeople alike. I have just started the recording of my very first album andam very excited about the songs that are going on it. I am also the founderof the Songwriters Alliance, this is a website for connecting songwriterstogether, and provides many resources to help them learn the craft.
I have been keen on music ever since I was young bringing a drum kithome with my first pay cheque after leaving school. But singing is what Ilove, people have told me my voice reminds them of Johnny Cash, NickCave, and Eddie Vedder which to me is a big fat compliment as I havealways love the deep rich texture of voices like these artist’s. I have spentmany years working on finding my voice and now I am more than happywith the way I deliver a song. Around 2013 I ran into a few personalproblems and ended up living in a cheap old office building for almost 2years, the first thing I did was by a P.A system and played and played andplayed these two years out of all my musical journey has shaped me morethan any other time.
