He has always dreamed about being a performer and now he is making his dreams a reality! Jason started singing at a very young age. hen he attended primary school he was selected to take part in the ueensburgh "estival of Arts in the Solo Singing category where he won #rst place for four consecutive years. He was also involved in his school$s musical productions% often singing lead. He had the opportunity to sing with the &wa'ulu()atal *hilharmonic +rchestra on three occasions and was accepted into the Drakensburg Boys, -hoir school which chose not to attend due to his other,s long battle with cancer. /t was then that the music bug bit him% hard! He attended high school at )orthwood School in Durban )orth% where he matriculated in 0120 with a bachelors degree pass. He was cast as one of the lead vocalists in the school,s annual musical productions from years 0113 4 0120% receiving school Honours for *erforming Arts in 0122. His passion for music 5ourished in 0113 when he was accepted into the &wa'ulu( )atal 6outh -hoir where he is currently a chorister. He has been on two international tours with the choir% his #rst being to 7reece in 0122 the second to /taly in July 0128. He plans to travel to *oland in 0129 with the choir. :nder the guidance of 7erard,d du ;oit% the Artistic Director of the &') 6outh -hoir% his ear for music and knowledge of harmony developed over the #ve years in the choir. ;his led his being appointed as <ocal Director for the )orthwood School musical production =Spotlight> in 0128% arranging all of the vocal numbers in the show% adding harmonies and assisting as a back(up vocalist on the show nights. He has also sung with the Durban -ity +rchestra on #ve occasions and has been seen entertaining the crowds at the local 7olden Hours 5ea market on a Sunday. Jason began recording as a solo artist at the end of 0120. He has already released three albums and has already begun the preparation on his fourth album to be released soon. Jason is a man of many talents% not only does he do all of his own recordings where he can master his e?act feel for the song% he also designs all of his cover art and inlays for the albums and has build up a good name for himself in the 7raphic Design #eld in Durban% working for various clients around South Africa. He can also be seen walking with his camera taking photos of anything that catches his eye and classi#es himself @a hobbyist photographer@.
