Norwich is the county town of Norfolk and the largest of the major East Anglican centres, situated 110 miles north east of London and 65 miles north east of Cambridge.
The city benefits from excellent communications and is served by the A11 trunk road which links to the M11 and A14, the main arterial routes from London and the Midlands to East Anglia. The Norwich Northern Distributor opened in 2017 and consists of 8.7 miles of dual carriageway that links the A47 to the south east of the city with Norwich International Airport to the north.
Frequent train services are also available from Norwich to London (Liverpool Street) with a fastest journey time of approximately 1 hour 47 minutes. In addition Norwich international airport is situated just over 4 miles to the north and offers flights to various destinations in the United Kingdom and Europe.
