  • 3 January 17, 2021 - 2nd Sunday of Ordinary Time

Thoughts from Your Pastor I want to congratulate our 2nd Graders who made their 1st Reconciliation last Sunday. We had a nice celebration. Sorry we couldn’t have our reception afterwards but it was still a great day. Special thanks goes out to Kim Brumfield, Betty Whitfill and Jeannette Galloway who helped prepare our boys and girls with their Religious Formation. Also thanks to P.J. and Alison who provided music for our celebration. Looking forward to celebrating 1st Holy Communion with you later in the year. The office will be closed on Monday because of Martin Luther King Day. It is also the beginning of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. If we ever needed Prayer in our country we need it now! Prayer is the only way we are going to get where we need to be with one another. Please PRAY!!! This Friday we pray as a nation for the Legal Protection of the Life of the Unborn. The Diocese has asked that there be no meetings in parish buildings until further notice. So we will cease having any meetings in our parish hall until we are told it is okay to have them. The Pastoral Council Meeting for January is cancelled. We continue to pray for our sick and elderly. I’m so much aware of our elderly and our shut-ins who have been isolated from church and one another for all these months. I miss all of you and I pray for each one of you daily. You are remembered at each Mass I celebrate. Hopefully this will be over soon and we can all get back together. Until next week please be kind to one another and remember who you are: A Child of God. Love & Prayers, Father Tony

Pray to end abortion: Join other Catholics and those from other faiths that gather each Saturday at 2nd and Market in Louisville from 7:00-8:00 am (EST) to pray for families entering the abortion clinic.
