Our brothers and sisters from the Hispanic commu-

nity will soon celebrate their protective mother, Our

Lady of the HIGH GRACE. They invite you to partic-

ipate in the Mass that will take place on Tuesday,

January 21 in our Parish at 7:00pm. The Novena

will be prayed every day at 6:15 P.M. in Our Lady of

Lourdes chapel beginning on January 12, on Sun-

days the novena will be prayed after the 12:30 P.M.

Mass in the Church.

The MARRIAGE PREPARATION COURSE, is intended

to help couples to understand and appreciate the beauty of

Christian marriage. Our meetings will happen on Thursdays at

7:30PM, at St. Thomas Aquinas’ lower church.

We will have free babysitting service.

Holy Hour for Life in our Collaborative

A Holy Hour for Life will be held on Monday January

20th from 7-8pm at St. Thomas Aquinas. We will pray to-

gether for those who have been wounded by abortion, for

respect for the dignity of human life from conception to

natural death, and that those who govern us may be guided

by justice, truth, and a love for the gift of life.

We will be visiting the Shattuck Shelter on Thursday January

16th to bring and serve dessert. We welcome any dessert and

snack donations – homemade or store bought. Please leave

them in the side door vestibule of the rectory anytime by 6:00

PM on the day of our visit. If you are interested in joining us

on our visits, you must be at least 18, and complete CORI &

Christmas generosity SMA and our partner churches worked together over the holi-days to help others. Parishioners from St. Edwards in Medfield and St. Mary’s in Holliston worked with our team led by Juana Pujols and Gladys Guzman to collect and distribute gifts to chil-dren of 100 families from our parish and the neighborhood. A team of parish volunteers led by Beatriz delos Santos created beautiful spaces at the church and parish house and hosted one of the nights of the Posadas. And thank you to our choirs and celebrants who led wonderful bilingual liturgies.

Pine Street Inn: Fr. Frank Kelley, Fr. Bill Joy and Boston urban priests created what we know today as the Pine Street Inn. This local organization provides shelter and emergency services for nearly 2,000 homeless men and women in the Boston area every day.

Rostro de Cristo: Fr. Jim Ronan founded this agency, which provides life-changing service opportunities for young adults to serve those on the margins in Ecuador. While continuing to shepherd Rostro, Fr. Jim Ronan also serves as pastor of St. Mary-St.Catherine of Sienna in Charlestown, where hundreds of families look to the parish food pantry for groceries.

Civic and Community Support: In Dorchester, Fr. Linh Nguyen, the pastor of St. Ambrose Parish, leads a strong and vibrant faith community while also providing civic support for his parishioners, many of whom came here from Vietnam with nothing more than the clothes on their backs.

Fire Chaplaincy: Fr. John Unni of St. Cecilia’s in Boston and Fr. Dan Mahoney, pastor of St. Francis de Sales in Charlestown, serve our community as chaplains for the Boston Fire Department.
