Growing into Yourself:

A Nurturing Chat with Chris Mabon Tuesday, February 14 @ 1:00 PM Our most important friendship is the one we foster with ourselves. Like all relationships, this one requires love and care to flourish. Though it’s often difficult to find time in the day to dedicate to yourself, accessing the keys to a better sense of self and understand-ing is well worth the initial effort.

Consider this program the first step to a better sense of who you are and who you can be, like a “down payment” on a new you!

Join Chris Mabon, author of 101 Ways to Nurture Yourself, to discuss some of the ways we can cul-tivate ourselves and become our own best friend.

We’ll have snacks and teas and chocolates to help you warm up to the new you!

Just a note

from the Whitehall Library

These cards are Whitehall Library’s one-of-a kind!

Show your love of reading

and your support for the

library by purchasing our

truly unique cards.

Our Holiday Book Tree

is designed and erected

each year by a wonderful

library patron and receives compliments from all

who stop to admire it. We knew we had something

special so we asked a local professional artist,

Melinda Ellis, for her help to design a card.

This year we are very excited to introduce another

of Mindy’s renderings. Our gorgeous Golden

Anniversary Quilt has been ‘captured’ on an

all-purpose note card, perfect for any occasion.

You may purchase a set of 10 for $10.00 or an

individual card for $2.00. Sales directly support

the Library and we guarantee you’ll have the most

original greeting cards in town!

Just ask at the front desk.

GOOD NEWS...

The Whitehall Public Library would like to publically thank the Jack Buncher Foundation for their continued gener-osity to public libraries in 2016. Not only did the Foundation provide the matching funds for the county-wide Love Your Library campaign, in addi t ion i t provided each library with a $5,000 end-of-year grant. Here in Whitehall, these unexpected and extraordinary gifts will allow for signifi-cant improvements to our Children's Library as well as our Second Chapter Café. Soon, our youngest, along with our most-senior patrons, will have enhanced spaces in which to learn, create and engage. Thank you Jack Buncher Foundation!
