Sikeston CVB Introduces New Tour Series

City Council Accepts 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan

During their Special Meeting of December 19, the Sikeston City Council accepted the 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan for fiscal years 2013 through 2017. The Capital Plan is a needs assessment as determined by each department. This information is used as a planning tool for budget preparation, as it reflects anticipated purchases from the Transportation Fund for eligible Street Division purchases and from the Capital Improvement Fund.

Cost estimates are based on projected needs, at current costs. Future conditions and circumstances will dictate modification of this plan. Any purchase proposed in the plan is contingent upon the appropriation of funds by the Sikeston City Council, and subsequent authorization to proceed with the bid process by the City Manager.
