Our Production: We strive to produce the best quality gourmet jam from fruit
farms/supermarkets for a cheaper price, or through commission.
Our Marketing: Having established our niche as the gourmet market, we will be
targeting adults, and the kids of the adults, to purchase our jam. We
will utilise farmers market,s primary schools and events e.g.
open mic nights hosted by Achtech to promote our product. If the
occasion arises, we will produce fruit smoothies as well to cater for

Idyllic NZ hides a shameful secret. Touted constantly as one of the most
liveable countries, NZ actually has one of the highest child poverty rates in the world. With 24% of NZ children living in poverty, Achtech feels that as youth
should help out what is to be the future of our country. After learning about the
Feed the Kids Foundation from a Unicef Congress, the problem raised was that although the children now
have milk (courtesy of Anchor) they still didnt have any solid form of breakfast.
And thats where Achtech comes in.

Set in the cozy bay of Half Moon Marina, the homegrown crew of Achtech conjured up the idea of a homegrown jam production from the problem of child poverty in New
Zealand. Children going without breakfasts? Terrible! And so, We wracked our brains day and night. All hope seemed lost when all we could come up with was
alternate forms of Nutella. But alas! Inspiration struck when we turned up the
radio one frustrated Sunday. Jams! Like its musical counterpart, Lets Jam jams not only transcend time and place, but there is a jam
for every one of us!

Our Incentive/Problem:
What is Achtech doing now?
1. Write up surveys to gauge interest for dierent flavours of jam.
2. Define concepts of Lets Jam! e.g. logo, FB/website, variations of the product (tube form, smoothie), dierent marketing techniques, ecient
production techniques
3. Begin jam production in earnest, and bring samples to taste test at various
markets.
4. Promote jam in the community.
