martial arts expert for many years, and is vegetarian, eating mostly raw foodsand vegetables). Well, a few weeks ago he went to a new, young doctor, andimmediately she pinned the issue: a leaky valve. They tried to repair it usingthe least invasive procedure, but the valve needed replacement. Had “Pipo”,as my sister and I have called our dad all our lives, not persisted, he may nothave been alive much longer. The surgery was a success, by the grace of God,and today he was moved out of the ICU and to a regular patient room as hecontinues to recover. Please keep him in your prayers, and let us continue toput our trust in our all-powerful, all-knowing Heavenly Father that loves usSO MUCH! In July, we had our second annual Healing Music Festival. This year we had4 concerts from night to night. We started off with TheIsaacs (www.theisaacs.com), followed with Message of Mercy(www.messageofmercy.org) and finished with the Freedom Singers(www.freedomsingers.com) and Legacy Five quartet (www.legacyfive.com).I encourage you to visit their websites and learn about these groups andmusicians, who are all dedicated Christians with a passion for sharing God’slove through music and testimony. There is so much I could say about these artists/groups, because many ofthem I know well. But I would like to share just a little about each group: 1- The Isaacs. Lily Isaacs is the founder of this talented family group. Hermother was a survivor of the Holocaust. They have a powerful story theyshare. 2- Message of Mercy. This is a group of music-loving, passionate ladiesfrom the greater Chattanooga area. Our very own Kim is a founding memberof the group, and when the group heard we were going to have oursecond HMF (Healing Music Festival), they volunteered to have their 20thAnniversary reunion concert as part of the Festival, to help us. Yes, theydidn’t charge us a penny! In fact, several of the group members have donatedgenerously to our “Hope Through Music” program, which is why wedo HMF. 3- Freedom Singers. I have known these guys for several years, and theyhave a powerful testimony. Simon Ivascu, the founder of the trio, invited meto their “Freedom Festival” 3 years ago, and as a result of seeing what theyare doing, I was inspired to start HMF. 4- Legacy Five. This is one of the top Gospel quartets in the world, and theirco-founder, and leader, Scott Fowler has invited me to some of the hugeevents he puts on. I don’t mind telling you that, after seeing and hearingabout our “Music Through Hope” project, Scott did something amazing: onbehalf of the group, he made a considerable donation to Healing Music.Thank you, Scott, and Legacy Five!

Below are some of the pictures from the concerts, as well as the participationof some of the precious students in our “Hope Through Music” program. Lastyear, during HMF, I promised that, if our partners and supporters helped usget this project off the ground, this year we would have some of thosechildren in our program participate. All of the artists were more than willingto accompany (yes, world-class, Grammy-winning artists) these wonderfulyoung violinists as they performed during each concert. We praise the Lordfor the way He is blessing our program! And our teacher/instructor Janelle isdoing a fantastic job. I don’t know if we’ll be able to, but our desire is toexpand our program to 20 children (from 10) this year. Please pray for us! I also need to mention a couple other things: 1- the families of the childrenare so grateful to see the impact this program is having that one of thegrandmothers made a contribution to help keep this going. Also, Janelle tooksome of the students “busking” in Chattanooga last week, and one of thestudents decided to donate all the money she made to our “Hope ThroughMusic” program, instead of keeping the money for herself! She wants thisprogram to continue. Aren’t these precious?!

The last thing I want to share with you is something that I have been desiringto accomplish for a LONG TIME! At almost every concert, parents andyoung violinists ask me the following question: “do you have the sheet musicfor the songs you play?” Because the musicians/arrangers/producers I’veworked with are so talented, there’s never been sheet music written out forour arrangements, and that includes the violin solos. But after YEARS ofwanting to do this, and with the expert help of Dr. Adriana Perera, Chair ofthe Music Department at Andrews University, we have finally completed, andare thrilled to release (and announce) for the first time that we have sheetmusic for violin and piano for our album Rock of Ages, Simply ClassicHymns Volume 5. We spent hours upon hours upon hours going back and forth to make sure thatevery note, fingering and bowing was exactly the way I play it in therecording. This thrills me because there is very little resource out there, byway of sacred sheet music, for young people to be able to use. So this willmake it possible for anyone interested to be able to glorify God playing theseold hymns and spirituals. The music, along with our accompaniment tracks

are available through our website. Here’s thelink: https://www.jaimejorge.com/downloads/sheet-music/rock-of-ages-full/ Now young people can own an excellent violin (see our Featured Productbelow) and play marvelous Christian music! May God continue to bless and use you as you serve Him in this sin-sickworld we live in. May His light shine upon us so we can reflect Christ toothers! With love, Jaime, Rachelle and Aria

GUEST MESSAGE Dear Jaime, I first met you when you gave a concert for our church camp meeting and wastotally awed by the Gift that God had given you! I fell in love with your giftand purchased your first autobiography, “No More Broken Strings,” as wellas several of your CDs! That book was so good! I enjoyed learning aboutyour life and how God was most definitely working in it! I could not put thebook down until I had finished it! A few years later you came to the church

where I was a member and I was taken into another world, yet again. You see,I LOVE music… many kinds and types! Music is my escape andrefreshment. It was about you returned to present your Christmas concert atour church. Once again, I was transported into the ‘world’ of music! Thatplace where I often slip into to relieve stress, work out problems and to seekthe Lord through music. God was sending His music from Heaven down tomy ears and my heart through the talent that He had given to you! How I wastranslated once again into Heaven for that hour! Then, it was December 6, 2014. You were returning to our church again! Iwas SO excited! I was Evelyn’s contact here when she was setting up thatconcert date for you. Over the years, I had observed how you preferred theplatform to be set up and that is what I did in preparation for your concert.Upon your arrival, I greeted you at the door and introduced myself and sharedwith you that everything was set up and ready for you. And… the concerttransported me once again through those talented fingers and yourinterpretation of that Heavenly Music! Five days after the concert, my local pastor, who had been a medic inVietnam, saw me and told me that I was very ill and that I was septic askingme when I would be seeing my doctor. The next day I saw my family doctorand was instructed to go straight to the hospital emergency. Six days after thatconcert, I was admitted into the hospital! I had no idea that I was as ill as Iwas, I had had no pain or anything else to indicate to me that something waswrong. I had been losing weight, but then I was happy about that! When thedoctors saw me and took some tests they gave me the news. “You are VERYill. You will have to make some very important decisions and make themquickly! You might have 24 hours left to live! When I was left in my room, I went directly to my Heavenly Father andtalked to Him! I asked Him to take my life and do with it what He wished. Iasked that He live inside of me and let those who were taking care of methere at the hospital to see HIM and not to see me! Let YOUR will be done inmy life, Lord! As I lay in the hospital bed, a peace came over me as to what I was to do. Iwas to have surgery. But, while I lay there, I was remembering you, yourHeavenly Music that means so much to me and the friendship that we hadformed over the years. You were, as well as God’s music, was playing in myhead consoling me and giving me strength to meet the challenge that wasahead of me! Thank you, Jaime, for your inspiration as a friend, through the music that wasso inspired and God’s Gift that you have chosen to use for Him! Throughyour talent, many will be given peace in their life, they will be brought a

‘little bit of Heaven’ here on this earth through the music, and best of all…there will be lives changed and will be led to the Lord through that talent andyou will be able to meet those individuals ‘When We All Get to Heaven’! God Bless you, Jaime, my friend….. As ever, I remain, Majiel Gibbar

Jaime, I want to let you know how much your ministry at Anderson First Churchmeant to me. I have been very stressed by some family issues during thisseason but those stresses have been eased by the music and testimony thatyou shared. God bless you as you use your wonderful talent to encourageothers to put their trust in God in all things. I hope that I will be able to hear you in concert again. Blessings, AP__________ Dear, Dear Jaime, Words cannot express our appreciation and deep thanks for the time you tookout of your incredibly busy schedule to visit Mother in her home yesterdayafternoon. She will NEVER be the same! Your visit was so inspirational, sogenerous, and so very genuine that my mother in law has not stopped talkingand being in “utter shock” that you were actually in her home. Your beautifuland loving character goes beyond simple kindness and courteousness. You“live” what your ministry is all about— and God’s Love exudes from yourbeing. Your visit has added a few more years to Mother’s life (LOL!!

), and she will NEVER forget your visit to her home. We too, will not forget the kindness and love you have shown to Mom Dwhen your travel and concert time were of the essence. We hope the end-of-

We areso grateful and so appreciative of your unbelievable gesture to visit mom. Our thanks beyond measure, 🏾__________ Hi Jaime, just wanted to quickly say that I so enjoyed your devotional “Notesfrom the Violin Case”. Truly caused me to think about how God is at work inmy life, how He uses music and how He wants us to relate to the worldaround us. Thanks for putting down these thoughts and vignettecombinations. God is blessing you in ministry! - KB__________ Jaime, I was on-call to handle the needs of our hospice patients. I prayed, askingGod for a pain-free day of peace for our patients and their families. I didn’tget a single call for the 12 hours I was working, and the nurse following meonly had 2 minor, pain-free calls. Praise God! So I pledged a dollar amount for every hour that I was on, and there were nocalls! When asking God where to send it, your name popped into my head.Your music brings peace and healing. Please continue sharing Jesus so othersmay experience the peace and healing! Sincerely, SA__________ Dear Jaime and Rachelle, Just when you think things cannot get better, they do!! Having the two of youat First United Methodist Church, Malvern last Sunday was the culmination

I am beyond excited to offer a line of quality and reasonably priced SignatureSeries violins and accessories! For years, one of the most frequent questionsI get from parents is “where can I obtain a quality instrument for myson/daughter at a reasonable price”? Since I have had the same violin for 30years, and I don’t have the need for anything other than a full-size violin, Ihave struggled to answer that question. At the conclusion of a concert a few months ago, someone suggested the ideaof starting a private label of quality violins at affordable prices that just aboutany family can afford for their young violinist. I loved the idea, and thusbegan my search for a top-notch company to work with, that could help meprovide exactly the type of violins that I can stand behind: 1- instrumentsthat I can have full confidence in their quality, and 2- I can be honored andproud to put my name on. After many hours of searching, communicating with a number of differentcompanies, evaluating and playing instruments, I found what I was lookingfor! We have carefully chosen 4 different violins, all impressive in theirsound, workmanship, quality, attention to detail, and presentation. I ambeyond confident that any of these violins you choose will not only be anexcellent investment, but also motivate yourson/daughter/grandson/granddaughter, family member or friend to continue topractice and develop their talents for God’s glory.
