Describe one of the two pairs of shoes in the photos.

Give a detailed account.Shoe A is a black converse with decorations on the side. The decorations include Mario characters, Pokemon, and

other animated characters. The shoe goes all the way up to surround the ankle. It has a white toe part and the bottom

of the shoe has a white part with 2 black lines. The shoelaces are white. The inside of the shoe is tan. This shoe seems to be comfortable to walk around in and is a casual shoe. The top most hole does not have the shoelace going

through it and the shoelaces are very loose. - 3:52

Explain one reason for wearing each shoe.Give a detailed account including reasons

or causes.Shoe A- one would wear Shoe A not necessarily for fashion but probably for hanging out for comfortableness such as

going shopping, when it requires a lot of walking. One would prefer wearing shoe A instead of shoe B because it is

much more convenient.

Shoe B- one would wear this type of shoe for special occasions such as parties or proms when she has to dress nicely and look good. Therefore, one would not normally

wear shoe B daily.- (5:00)

Explain one reason for wearing each shoe.Give a detailed account including reasons or

causes.Shoe A

The reason for wearing this shoe will be because it is very comfortable. It supports the ankle so it is much more comfortable than other shoes.

Also it doesn’t have any heels so it doesn’t hurt although we walk a long way with this shoe.

Shoe BPeople wear this it makes them look prettier. This shoe because it makes

them look taller and their legs to be longer and thinner. Also it has a pretty color, which is good for a fashion item.

Compare the functionality of Shoe A and Shoe B for shopping.

Describe two (or more) situations and present the similarities between them. In ITGS the phrase “describe the similarity between

…” will be used instead of compare.

The functionality of Shoe A is for everyday life. It is a shoe that you can wear daily and for casual events. It is for women and they

use it for very formal events and it also serves as a shoe that gives makes you taller

due to a high heel on the bottom back. (4:10)

Compare the functionality of Shoe A and Shoe B for shopping.

Describe two (or more) situations and present the similarities between them. In ITGS the phrase “describe the similarity between …” will be used instead of

compare.

Shoe A is probably seen as a more rugged shoe, probably cheaper, sports or casual wear, probably not

great image, many sizes, comfortable, probably for video game fans/addicts, fit for both genders. Shoe B

is probably accepted as a more chique shoe, more expensive, probably showpiece, for formal occasions,

perhaps found in more expensive/well known shoe stores, probably well branded, and only accepted for

women. (2:35)

Analyze the decision to wear Shoe B for a visit to Retiro Park.Break down in order to bring out the essential elements or structure. Shoe B wouldn't be a smart nor good idea to use for a visit to Retiro

Park. High heels are most likely formal and sometimes girls have hard time walking with high heels so if you used Shoe B to visit the park you would have some trouble walking and they are red which make them a very attractive color and maybe you might attract peoples attention thinking that those shoes were not the right decision to

wear. When you go to a park you wouldn't want to use Shoe B because you wouldn't be able to walk on unstable ground. Also Shoe B is less

comfortable to wear than Shoe A and you don't need to be formal in a Park.

Analyze the decision to wear Shoe B for a visit to Retiro Park.

Break down in order to bring out the essential elements or structure.

The decision to wear shoe b to the Retiro is not very comfortable. It’s not very comfortable due to the high heels

it has. Moreover, the Retiro has many sidewalks that are bumpy so it probably hard to walk with this type of shoe.

However, this shoe would be appropriate if there was some sort of party in the park where the guests had to go formally

dressed.

Discuss the value of Shoe A as a sports shoe.

Offer a considered and balanced review of a particular topic. Opinions or conclusions should be presented clearly and supported by empirical evidence and sound argument. Shoe A is a Converse with a design on the side, of several video game characters. This particular shoe does not have value as a sports shoe; this is because it cannot be employed for sports without ruining the design. However, this shoe does have value as a use for causal use; it is not very sporty and it is not formal. 2:57

Discuss the value of Shoe A as a sports shoe.

Offer a considered and balanced review of a particular topic. Opinions or conclusions should be presented clearly and supported by empirical evidence and sound argument. Shoe A has a low value as a sports shoe. It is not designed to be used when playing sports as it not really made for that. This type of shoe is what you would wear for a normal day, but not for playing sports. The show has a weird design and sports player wouldn’t really chose that type of shoe with the design if they have a football game or basketball or rugby made. You cannot run fast with them and they are not very flexible when it comes to playing sports.

An international school teacher purchased Shoe A to wear to his job interview for ASM.

Evaluate this decision.Make an appraisal by weighing up the strengths and limitations of

different evidence and arguments. There are both good sides and bad sides to this shoe. I think this was not a wise choice because a school teacher should look serious for an interview. They need to look like they are not childish. I think if they wear that colorful sneaker they wouldn’t look very good. Both options are bad though because they don’t want to look like a woman of the night either. So maybe that would be a reason to pick Shoe A so that they would look more child friendly because if they are going to teach they should be able to get along with kids well and have fun with them and i think that someone with mario and Luigi on their shoes will not have a problem with that. Also maybe the children would like the shoes, or they would just think they’re weird.

The teacher might have chosen to buy shoe A because of her personal tastes. It could also be that since she is in an international

school, she might want to look more like a student rather than a teacher to be more familiar with her students. However, she is

going to a job interview so she should go formal to give a better first impression. With shoe A it would appear that she doesn’t care as much for her job. This will make the one doing the interview to

choose another teacher before her. The decision of buying shoe A instead of shoe B would be because she has feet problems.

Justify the choice of Shoe A for the school prom.Give valid reasons or evidence to support an answer

or conclusion. Shoe A is very artistic and the person who chose it has many reasons to do so. Shoe A has video game designs so it was probably chosen by a person who like those games. To chose this shoe that person will probably try to go as a joke, maybe even dressed as one of the characters designed in he shoe like Mario or Pikachu. This person might have also chosen this shoe because he had a bet going on with his friends and he wanted to win money or whatever he was going to win by doing the bet. On the other hand, those shoes might be very confortable and although he might be dressed with a suite he wanted to go confortable since he would be dancing and moving around the whole night. (4.52)

Justify the choice of Shoe A for the school prom.Give valid reasons or evidence to support an

answer or conclusion. Shoe A is more original, thus could possibly be a better choice for those that wish to be original. It is also much more comfortable and proms are very long so your feet would not get sore with shoe A. Prom’s usually also involve a lot of dancing and shoe A is easier to dance in because it has laces, and is comfortable. It also supplies ankle support that could be nice for dances that involve more moving around. It all goes with your preference. Some people prefer flashy high heels, other prefer more original shoes that match their personality such as shoe A. Shoe A is more of a casual shoe.

Justify the choice of Shoe B for wearing to a rugby game.Give valid reasons or evidence to support an answer

or conclusion. It is an inappropriate choice to choose shoe B to wear for a rugby game because for rugby, there is a different type of shoe to wear than shoe B. Shoe B is a pink high heal, which is usually for going to a formal reunion or just to be ‘fashionable’. It is impossible to do proper rugby games with shoe B on. It can be said that nobody would ever think to wear shoe B for

a rugby game. Therefore, the choice of shoe B for wearing to a rugby game can be justified as an inappropriate choice with lack of thought.

Justify the choice of Shoe B for wearing to a rugby game.Give valid reasons or evidence to support

an answer or conclusion. Shoe B is not the most comfortable shoe even for walking. Shoe B is hard to run with and less stable than shoe A. It

also makes your feet hurt if you wear it for a long time. This shoe is not the best option for a rugby game if you want to

do well.
