To develop quality professionals with sound footing of basic engineering principles, technical

skills and exemplary professional conduct. Work for students overall development Unleashing

the potential of students using their deep insights, personal experience, knowledge and other

perspectives. Besides teaching and industrial training, the holistic development program will

include conversational and discussions, techno- cultural activities, exercises, games, writing

assignment, mock interviews, guest lectures by subject specialist and motivational speakers to

enhance a student’s growth and success. Providing opportunities to bridge the gap between

student and the external world to make students capable to face the corporate competitive

environment. Students can show their talents while utilizing their skills, enhancing their

knowledge and working capabilities and hence they can redefine their limits……

Subject- Proposal for event “IT- Ideathon Exhibition”

With due respect, we want to propose an event named “IT Ideathon 2017”. Programming is the

21st century’s new literacy. It is not limited to the domain of engineering, but extends to how we

solve problems in the future. It embodies creativity and critical thinking. We believe that all final

year students should equip themselves with development skills to facilitate with their future

education and career development. Final year IT students will come together to show their talent in

the exhibition organized by IT department, where they will show their learning in the form of minor

projects.

What is a Ideathon:

All the great inventions were once a mere Idea. An idea that changed the world forever.

Our IT department has always been in the lead when it comes to nurturing new and innovative ideas whether

it is from faculties or students.

"IT IDEATHON EXHIBITION 2017" gives the final year students an opportunity to express themselves. It

gives them a platform to show their talent and exchange ideas with industry experts.

What are our visions:

1. Promote creativity and team working - IT Ideathon provides a platform for students to unleash

their creativity and collaboration skills, two vital skills for future learning and career development,

through coming up with ideas and building the product collaboratively.

2. To provide exposure- It will give final year students an exposure of new and innovative changes

through which the IT industry is undergoing.

3. Promote “Developing Culture” - Developing culture encourages people to think out of the box.

Students challenge themselves to create something new and to take ownership of what they create.

These are important but often neglected experiences.

IT Ideaathon Exhibition 2017 Promotion Message/Email

IT department is organising the IT Ideaathon 2017. It will be a 3 hours Exhibition in which students

need to show their minor projects. You can choose any platform and internet facility for the

Development according to the theme given.

Based on this Ideathon, IT will recognise student's strength and will promote such students to

bigger platform. So bring out your best and get the chance to participate in the further

Ideathon on a larger scale .

Attendance , Refreshments and attractive prizes will be given .

Technical Certificate will also be given to the participants.

SUMMARY OF IT IDEATHON EXHIBITION 2017

IT Ideathon 2017

IT Ideathon Exhibition 2017 was an event that showcase the student’s talent in the form of a minor

project.

Students participated in the team. Total 32 teams participated in the event. The members worked

collaboratively and many creative outputs were given. The judgement

round started at 1:30pm. Every team showed their talent and the solution to the problem in a

creative way.

After the judgement round, 5 teams were selected for the final presentation where they have to

present it in front of every participant. From these teams the top 5 best team were selected.

Best Idea Award was given to project title Station .

Mementos were given as a token of remembrance to the judges- Mr. Prashant Pandey and Mr.

Gaurav Sanghi(Bodhi AI Startup Founder Member).

Event was ended with the vote of thanks and certificate distribution ceremony to every participant,

student Coordinators, All Mentors and the event coordinator Mr.Naveen Kedia.
