Anger Management

There are two concepts revolving around the term anger. In case you can channelize your anger in the proper manner then, you might land up with proper moral boost and get in touch with probable and best final results.

This is the positive side of anger. On the other hand, if you fail to channelize it, then anger is another name of destruction. Now, destruction does not always mean any physi-cal object. It can also be any relationship or anything related with the emotional context. Therefore, in order to control your growing

anger and land up with the best result, try and look for the right option, associated with anger management classes.

MANAGING ANGER IS A MUST

Anger is a major part of our emotional out-burst, which can take different shapes, from different mental stability. A person can easily show two sides of anger at any point of time. Therefore, in order to take proper control of your angry means, you need special coun-seling classes. These are mostly stated as a meditation area or the anger management courses. These are provided by none other than leading professionals, who might have been a victim of anger at some point of time or the other. Their mental stability along with regain confidence will also act like a positive notion, for you.

ThINKING BEFoRE YoU SpEAK

Words are like arrows, once released can never be turned back. Similarly, once you have uttered something, it becomes hard to get it back. It is next to impossible to get the bad words back in your mouth and substitute

it with something good. Therefore, when you are angry, you might want to babble out any-thing you want to that targeted person. Thus, it is always better to think and think more than once, before planning to speak. Think about the person you are dealing with and the scenario, as well. This is one of the major points, associated with anger management medication.

VARIoUS TYpES oF CoURSES

The field of anger is vast, and people are go-ing to showcase different ways of their anger. The means and even age bar can play a piv-otal role in determining the intensity of anger and the reasons, behind it. Therefore, there is special and different teenage anger manage-ment sessions available, which are meant for only teenage girls and boys. These are for a particular age bracket and not for all. Before planning to join any such session, you have to show them your proof and other age-related objectives, before jumping for a final say.

LooKING FoR SoME ExERCISE

The best way to get rid of anger is by doing something else. Whenever you feel sad and angry, try and do those things, which can otherwise excite you and make you happy. Some such examples are singing, dancing, exercising, drawing and even having a hearty chat, with your friends. You can even chan-nelize your anger for some good paintings or poems, which will not only soothe your mind but can, give a jolt to your creativity. These are some of the most prominent options, available, on the cards. l

This year Belize has been offered THREE scholarship opportunities by United World College. Two of these spots are partially funded and one spot fully funded. These colleges each offer two year courses to attain the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB). These opportunities are being offered to Belizean third and/or fourth form students between the ages of 16-17.

A UWC education will lead to a myriad of future opportunities, including funding for a Bach-elor’s degree in the USA through the Shelby Davis Foundation www.davisuwcscholars.org/partners.

United World College was founded in 1962 and currently has 13 schools and colleges throughout the world. UWC’s mission and values is to “make education a force to unite people, nations and culture for peace and a sustainable future.” www.uwc.org

Application forms can be found at bz.uwc.org and must be submitted along with an electronic copy of your high school transcript to [email protected].

Horticulture Train-ing at Belize Botanic Gardens is a 10-week course comprised of mornings in the classroom learning to about various plants, how to iden-tify them, where and when to plant them and after-

noons doing practi-cal training in plant ID, propagation, grafting, pruning, weeding, watering, landscape design –and more.

on The Job Training (OJT) is a 12-week course of practical train-

ing which teaches students all of the necessary skills to obtain a job as a gardener. A num-ber of our students have started their own nursery and lawn care busi-nesses so there is opportunity for entrepreneurs.

With the growth of the tourism industry in Belize hotel owners and other businesses are requiring skilled gardeners to help maintain their grounds so this job market is wide-open for the dedi-cated individual.

We have trained both men and women from youths as young as 16 to mature people in their 40’s and 50’s. The main requirement is a love for gardening and the wish to be-come employed!
