Issue Types

Five issue types are provided. Each type records information specific to the nature of the issue, helping to avoid ‘generic’ type fields that are often hard to complete and may not make sense.

Five issue types are provided. Each type records information specific to the nature of the issue, helping to avoid ‘generic’ type fields that are often hard to complete and may not make sense.

Within the 5 Issue types, the Incident type has 10 Categories, allowing detailed information about specific Incidents to be entered.

Only the selected Categories are displayed for each Incident. The selection is made when the Incident is first created, and can be modified later.

Within the 5 Issue types, the Incident type has 10 sub-categories, allowing detailed information about specific Incidents to be entered.

Only the selected sub-categories are displayed for each Incident – this selection is made when the Incident is first created, and can be modified later.

All of this information is recorded in what is called the Report section of the Issue – this is the ‘what happened’.

This contains a series of prompts that are tailored for your business, and drive actions.

The Causal Analysis, Actions and Close Out are all located in the Manage section of the Issue. This is normally only accessed by Administrators and people who have a role in these aspects of the Issue.
