First of all, Happy 4th of July! I hope it found you, happy, Heathy and safe. I spent my day at the lake with my family, shot off fire works and watched the show that the Bemidji JC’S put on. I would like to congratulate past Aerie and Auxiliary Presidents Fred Schader and Tammy Freye on a job well done, they helped raise over $110,000.00 to give away to our charities. I’d would like to introduce my Presidents charity “No Barriers Warriors” It helps bring Veterans together to hunt, fish and enjoy fellowship together. Please remember it’s time to pay your dues stop by the Club or mail them. I’m looking forward to working and seeing you all at the Club. I would like to introduce myself my self as your new Aerie

President.

First of all, Happy 4th of July! I hope it found you, happy,

Heathy and safe. I spent my day at the lake with my family,

JC’S put on.

I would like to congratulate past Aerie and Auxiliary

Presidents Fred Schader and Tammy Freye on a job well

&e kitchen reopened on June 22nd serving our full breakfast

and lunch menu. We will resume LUNCH SPECIALS on

June 29th. Due to the increase of food costs, we will NOT

be o$ering BREAKFAST SPECIALS at this time. We are

taking every precaution to ensure the safety of our sta$ and

each and every one of you. We appreciate your patronage

and patience as we navigate through our “new normal”!

It is still uncertain as to when we will resume FRIDAY

NIGHT DINNER and DANCE. We strive to serve you

quality dinners at a reasonable price but once again, due to

the increase in food costs, we are unable to do so at this

time. Because of the restrictions put on us, we are allowed

to have a band but dancing is prohibited. So once again,

we appreciate your patience and look forward to welcoming

you back as the state reopens and restrictions are li(ed!

351 was !rst instituted on April 1,

1903? No Fooling!!!! &e Charter

was surrendered September, 1917.

Auxiliaries were not started until

1927.

Bemidji was chartered as Aerie

#3567 on May 22, 1974. Bemidji

asked the Grand Aerie for their

old number back to prove to

the state of MN that they were

chartered previously, in order to

expedite a gaming license.

Bemidji changed from #3567 to

#351 on May 30, 1974.

Instituted Jr. Past President, Louis

Collins 1973 - 74, President, Tomy

Heglund were the ones that re-

established the Charter.

&e Auxiliary was chartered as

#3567 but didn’t change their

number until May 30th of 1975!

&ey waited until the last day

of the Fraternal year to avoid

confusion.

&e Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international non-

pro!t organization uniting fraternally in the spirit of

liberty, truth, justice, and equality, to make human life

more desirable by lessening its ills and promoting peace,

prosperity, gladness and hope.

&e F.O.E. donates more than $10 million a year to local

communities, fundraisers, charities and more. As part

of its philosophy, the F.O.E. gives back 100 percent of

monies raised in the form of grants. Fundraisers are

conducted for eight major charities, including kidney,

heart, diabetes, cancer and spinal cord injury funds, a

children’s fund, memorial foundation and the Golden

Eagle Fund.

F.O.E. MISSION STATEMENT

GUIDELINES

1. Must be a Member in good standings for 1 year.

2. Contact the Bemidji Auxiliary by coming to a meeting which are held on 1 & 3 Wednesdays of each month.

3. Fill out a Services Request form. And return it in a sealed envelope to the Bemidji Auxiliary. All information

5. AII Gas Cards will be issued from Holiday Gas Stations.

6. Can only use program for Gas Cards two times a year unless otherwise.

DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED FOR THIS PROGRAM

Dear Sisters

Welcome Back! We are #nally open with limitations; we are serving Breakfast & Lunch. All the tables & chairs are constantly being sanitized a$er every use. %ank You to our wonderful Sta' at the Bemidji Eagles.

Bingo is back on Tuesday Evenings & Saturday a$ernoon.

At this time we are not serving Friday Night Dinners

Unfortunately due to the pandemic we were unable to have our Mother Daughter Event in May and the Spring Extravaganza.

%e “Wine & Beer Tasting Event.” Fundraiser for the Fisher House was a success! We raised over $6,000 for the Fisher House. We are planning on holding this event again in March 2021.

I would like to thank all of the Auxiliary O)cers who graciously with dedication volunteered to serve another year.

Special note to Susan Wiese whom I have chosen for my Mother Eagle and to Kristen Nelson as my Grandmother Eagle a Special %ank You for all your help and encouragement.
