Optimization & Differential Equation' organized

by E&TC Department of R.C.Patel Institute of

Technology, Shirpur, Dist- Dhule on 24-25 Aug.

Prof. J. P. Gawande has conducted a Guest

lecture on 'Digital Filter Design' for T.E.

Computer Engineering students in Sinhgad

Academy of Engineering, Pune on 3rd Aug.

2013.

The paper titled ‘An Intensity modulated

Optical fiber sensor with concave mirror for

measurement of displacement’ authored by Dr.

A.D. Gaikwad, Prof. J. P. Gawande, Prof. A. K.

Joshi is published in Journal of Optics

(Springer).

Prof. V. D. Hajare and Prof. H. T. Patil presented

research papers at INDICON-2013 organized by

IEEE Bombay section & IIT Bombay.

Prof. V. D. Hajare presented a research paper at

IEEE Multi-Conference on System and Control,

Hyderabad during 28-30 Aug. 2013.

Prof. J. P. Gawande and Prof. V. D. Hajare

presented research papers at National

Conference on Instrumentation Control and

Signal Processing-ICSP during 8-9 July 2013.

Prof. A.K. Joshi and Prof. J. P. Gawande

organized industrial visits of TE and BE

students to Veer Hydroelectric Power Plant,

Veer and Sudarshan Chemicals, Mahad on 21st

August 2013 and 11th January 2014 respectively.

Prof. A.K. Joshi and Prof. Y. G. Adhav organized

an industrial visit of TE students to Phaltan

Sugar Works at Sakharwadi, Phaltan.

been awarded to Ms. Ridhima Pathak for

securing first place in Instrumentation and

Control Branch for the Bachelor of Engineering

degree examination held in May 2012 of Pune

university.

'Late Satish Phadke Prize' has been awarded to

Ms. Ridhima Pathak for having passed the B.E.

(Instrumentation and Control) Examination held

in May 2012 with highest number of marks.

'The Late Shri Yashwant Moreshwar Saptarshi

Memorial Prize' has been awarded to Ms.

Ridhima Pathak for having passed the B.E.

(Instrumentation and Control) Examination held

in May 2012 with highest number of marks.

'The Principal G.K.Ogale Memorial Prize' of

Rs.6400/- has been awarded to Ms. Radhika

Saraf for securing highest number of marks and

standing First at the S.E. (Instrumentation and

Control ) Examination held in May 2012.

Ms. Krishnali Penta was awarded as best out

going student of the department for her all

round performance during the academic year

2013-14.

Ghonge, Ms. Arshi Mohini have participated in

the All India Technology & Innovation contest

Techno-Champ 2013, organized by John Deere

Technology Center, India and got the second

prize for their paper titled 'Tractor tyre

designing system'.

Ms. Anushree, Ms. Neha Upadhyay, Ms.

Himani Hotkar, Ms. Uma Salvi got the Second

Prize in Tenchnobells event of Innovation2K14,

the National Level Technical Event held on 28th

Feb-1st March '14 at CCOEW, Pune.

Ms. Sayali Kothmire & Ms. Surabhi Kausadikar

got the Second Prize in Ideation event of

Innovation 2K14, the National Level Technical

Event held on 28th Feb-1st March 14 in CCOEW,

Pune.

Ms. Rutuja Chaturbhuj, Ms. Revati Deshpande,

Ms. Neha Godse, Ms. Shreni Sonaniskar got the

Third Prize in Tenchnobells event of Innovation

2K14, the National Level Technical Event held

on 28th Feb-1st March '14 in CCOEW, Pune.

Ms. Sayali Joshi and Ms. Maitreyee Patwardhan

participated in Various National level

Swimming Competitions Zest, Summit

Pentacle, Melange, Kurukshetra which were

state level Competition and won first and

second positions in 50m backstroke, freestyle

Relay, 100m prizes.

Ms. Ruddhi Kadam & Ms. Disha Waghela

secured First Prize in Mad Talks at Credenz '13

event organized by PICT.

Ms. Ruddhi Kadam and Ms. Sanskriti Shankara

played in Basket Ball competitions like Zest,

Pentacle, Damini Inter-collegiate tournament

and were responsible for winning the trophies

for our college.

Ms. Rucha Kulkarni and Ms. Gauri Ghate are

winners at Badminton competitions held at

Zest, Pentacle, Damini, Summit Inter-collegiate

tournament and won the trophies for our

college.
