IncentiveThe ISO/TS 16949 norm harmonises the existing automotive industry standards demanded of quality management systems all over the world. The right certification credentials are essential for companies wishing to be included in the automotive supply chain of the vehicle manufacturers. As such, ISO/TS 16949 opens the doors to the worlds largest production sector.

OutcomeISO/TS 16949 forms the basis for top-level process know-how and excel-lence («zero defects principle»). Due fulfilment of the norm confirms that the required process control measures have been put in place and that the validated procedures are being applied and is therefore essential for approval as a supplier.

RecognitionThe SQS certificate of conformity with ISO/TS 16949 has international validity and is recognised worldwide through the IQNet partnership.
