TÜV PROFiCERT ISO/TS 16949The TÜV PROFiCERT procedure quality management ISO/TS 16949 examines the quality management system of manufacturing companies in the automo-tive industry that are active in series and service parts production.The objective of certification in accordance with the internationally applicable technical specification ISO/TS 16949 in combination with the customer-spe-cific requirements is to provide the general conditions needed to make the quality management systems in the automotive industry comparable. Continuous improvements and the prevention of errors are crucial elements in this. Most vehicle manufacturers demand certification in accordance with ISO/TS 16949 before approving potential suppliers as subcontractors.

How long is the certification valid?The TÜV PROFiCERT certificate ISO/TS 16949 is awarded upon successful completion of the certifica-tion process. It is valid for three years and must be confirmed every year by a surveillance audit.
