  • INTRODUCTION

    We collected the primary data of traffic and

    movement and have done some processing to display

    the simplest form including treatment of data gaps.

    Traffic affected by fluctuated economic factors, this

    year witnessed a notable increase which is not positive

    anymore and this will appear in the coming tables.

  • GLOBAL AND REGIONAL TRAFFIC

    2017 is another year of above –trend passenger growth.

    Revenue passenger kilometers rose 7.6 compared to

    2016, capacity rose 6.3 and load factor climbed 0.9 %

    points to 81.4%.

    In the Middle East traffic increased 6.6% and shared

    the global traffic by 10.7%.

    IATA members transported 83% out of the global

    traffic.

  • Domestic traffic deteriorated by 14.5%. while the flights

    cut down 567.

    The above tables are bearing the same features of

    purpose of travel.

    The passengers who intended KRT are raised above

    those who left back, they came for medical treatment

    by air transport, but returned by land transport due to

    the high cost of air transport.

    The cargo transported from KRT was medical drugs, food stuff,

    drinks and some software materials. Land transport is cheaper

    enough to transport cargo from the rest of the country.
