OnSeptember30th1983acooperationagreementwassignedinthemanagementofeducationbetweentheKeluarga400FoundationandthePondokMulyaFoundation.Keluarga400FoundationisanorganizationthatbringstogetherformerstudentsofBattalion400Brigade17,whilethePondokMulyaFoundationisthePondokIndahrealestatemanagementfoundation.Intheframeworkofsuchcooperation,thePondokMulyaEducationalAssociationoftheKeluarga400Association,whichisabbreviatedBKSPPondokMulya-Keluarga400.Thecooperationdecisionisajointcollaborationtoparticipateinsupportinggovernmentpoliciesinthefieldofeducationthrougheffortstoprovideeducationalfacilitiesthataccommodateschool-agechildren. Furthermore,inthecollaborativeeffort,usingthenameofthePondokMulyaEducationalCooperationAgency–Keluarga400Association,afterajointagreement,theFoundation'snamewaslaterdecidedtobecometheBaktiMulya400EducationalCooperationAgencyorbetterknownasBKSPBaktiMulya400. Incarryingoutitsactivities,BKSPBaktiMulya400adherestothemotto"DevotedtoCountryandtheNationforLife".Thismottoisbasedonidealismandpatriotismwhichbasedonthebeliefthateducationisa"humaninvestment"thatreachesthefuture.
