ISK ExaminationsThe ISK carries out all the German examinations in the intensive courses given at levels A1 to C1 of the generally binding competence levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The examinations always take place during the last week of the course. Intensive preparation for the examination and a mock exam prior to the actual exam are part of the course program. The examination fees are included in the course prices.

NaturalizationWelcome!In order to obtain a German passport, you must also provide formal proof of your German language skills at the B1 level. At the ISK, you can take the German test for immigrants (DTZ) at the end of the integrati-on course. This test is carried out every month on fixed dates. Another prerequisite for naturalization is the "Living in Germany" (LiD – Leben in Deutsch-land) naturalization test. You can also take this test at the ISK.

Working in Germany A language certificate can help!You do not need a language certificate for most profes-sions in Germany. However, good language skills are important for employers. That is why proof of your German language skills is helpful and makes it more likely that you will find a job on the German job market.

Preparation for the StudienkollegOnly the best applicants are admitted to a study program. Good preparation increases your chances. The admission test is made up of a mathematics part and a German language part.

Working in regulated professionsOnly with a language certificate!Regulated areas include medical professions in particu-lar. Language certificates are a prerequisite for getting permission to work as a professional in Germany. The respective medical association determines which certificate must be provided before a doctor is approved to practice medicine.

Proof of language proficiency for universityAll the participants in our telc Deutsch C1 University and TestDaF test courses are guaranteed that they can take the final exam at the ISK. If you would like to take the DSH at a university, taking our DSH preparation course is the best thing you can do to ensure your success.
