March Recap

Home Organization Tips

We loved hearing Amanda Scudder and her Abundance Organizing partner discuss very useful home organization

tips! I think we all felt inspired to immediately start

streamlining our closets and homes after her presentation!

Interview with Jenni

Where are you originally from?

Grew up in Loudon County, VA in Sterling then South Riding for high school

Why did you decide to join the MDWC? I wanted to be a part of the community and meet my neighbors.

What's your favorite part about living in this neighborhood? It has so many things within walking distance that I hardly ever drive my car around. It's nice to feel safe to walk to Carytown or even to run to Byrd Park.

Favorite spot in RVA? Best place to take visitors? Rock hopping at Belle Isle. Any person that comes to visit me gets to experience what I consider the best part of the city.

Favorite Richmond activity and/or festival? Ukrops Monument 10k. Best 10k in VA and is so much fun to participate in because of the live music and enthusiasm

What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time? Bike the capital trail, run through the museum district and along the north bank trail, and drink wine while building Legos

Favorite vacation spot? St. Francis Resort on Stocking Island, Bahamas. It's practically a private island filled with small trails, coves with clear water and tropical plants and animals
