o TTV – Thru The Valley is the

rehabilitation, and one lane

addition in each direction, of IR 75

from a little south of Cross County

Interchange to just south of the

IR 275 Outerbelt.

• Prephase to replace NS Railroad’s bridge

north of Galbraith Road.

• Miami Erie Canal Built by the State of

Ohio in 1820’s.

• 1906, Railroad built bridge over canal.

• Rule of Causality - Railroad caused the

bridge to be built so the railroad owns

and maintains the bridge.

• 1960’s Converted to SB 75. As seen today.

• Up until 2013, ODOT was sending monthly

letters to railroad with structural concerns

for years.

• Railroad claimed bridge was in satisfactory

condition, and ODOT should pay for,

maintain, and own the future bridge.

• Railroad performed repairs in 2013
