GW Law’s Intellectual Property Legal Studies Program is a recognized international thought leader, combining strong faculty, stellar students, broad offerings, and innovative conferences and international programs in locations including but not limited to Brazil, China, Munich, and India. Our unique partnerships with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the Register of Copyrights, and the Federal Circuit go far beyond our DC location. And unlike many law schools, GW is committed to law in action, not just law on the books. Accordingly, we actively build bridges between law school and law and policy practice through:

• unmatchedcoursecoverage(nearly20differentofferingspersemester),focusedonteachingcriticalpracticeskills;

IP Benefactors as well as Advisory Board members make a minimum contribution of $10,000 to GW Law each year. Each IP Benefactor sends a representative to the two Intellectual Property Advisory Board meetings held annually.
