Project Global Education System assumes transition from the current three-level system of higher education with award of degrees BS, MS, PhD to a four-level system with degrees BS, MS, PhD, and Grand PhD, which would be the highest scientific degree with the status of "Grand Doctor of Philosophy (Grand PhD)" being offered to outstanding scientists To receive the degree of International PhD it is necessary to have the NATIONAL degree of PhD, to publish 15-20 scientific papers, to find an original solution of some problem, to prepare an original thesis. To receive the degree of Grand PhD, it is necessary to have the degree of PhD of WIDU, to publish more than 100 scientific papers, 2-3 monographs, to take part in training of 10-20 PhD, to take part in solving of global problem as a supervisor.World Information Distributed University (WIDU) in collaboration with the European Academy of Informatization (AEI), founded in 1999 by Royal Decree of King Albert of Belgium invite you to take part in a project of Global Education System (GES) with the view of further increasing the levels of experts of leading and outstanding Scientists and Academicians skills in the interest of the World in general. This structure has passed a test in 1993-97 and was licensed in 1998 and entered into the charter of Academy AEI by the Minister of Justice of Belgium. The University reserves the right to take action against students who do not makepayments on their student account according to the terms of the PaymentAgreement; up to and including withdrawal from the University.
TUITION AND FEES
Refund Policy
All students are guaranteed that tuition at the time of registration will not increase as long as they are actively and continuously enrolled in a program.
The University further guarantees that students who wish to withdraw will have allmoney due refunded within 30 days. A student may request refund in anymanner, but a written request is preferred. Tuition refunds will be based on thedate of cancellation as follows:If a student cancels within 5 calendar days after midnight of the day the studentsigns the Enrollment Agreement (Full Refund Period), the student will receive aFULL refund with NO further obligation.
If a student cancels after the Full Refund Period but before the school receives thefirst completed lesson, the student will be refunded all money paid, less an

first completed lesson, the student will be refunded all money paid, less anadministrative fee of $50.
If a student cancels after completing at least one lesson assignment but less than50 percent of course assignments, the University will retain a percentage ofrefundable tuition which will not exceed the following:
a. Up to and including 10 percent of the course, 10 percent of the refundabletuition (tuition charges remaining after subtracting the non-refundable feealready retained).
b. Between 10 percent and 25 percent of the course, 25 percent of therefundable tuition.
c. Between 25 percent and 50 percent of the course, 50 percent of therefundable tuition
d. After the student completes more than half the course, the institution shall beentitled to retain the entire total course tuition
The amount of the course completed shall be the ratio of completed lessonassignments received by the institution to the total lesson assignments required tocomplete the course.

Students graduate upon successful completion of all academic with minimum CGPA >2.00 and tuition obligations. It is recommended that each student periodically confer with their Faculty Mentor to stay in compliance with academic and tuition obligations.

CHANGE OF CONTACT INFORMATION
The University maintains a record of your most current address. All contact information changes should be reportedand submitted promptly in writing to Student Services as soon as they occur.
STUDENT IDENTIFICATION CARDS
Student identification cards are available to all registered students. Students who wish to order an ID card will becharged $25 per issued card. In order to receive a Student identification card, students must submit a 1" x 1”photograph along with their full name and student identification number to the University. A Student identificationcard has many benefits. Often cards can be used for discounted rates to museums, theaters, sporting events, andother attractions that offer discounts to students possessing a valid Student ID card. This card may also providestudents with library privileges at colleges and universities in their geographic area depending on the institution’spolicies.
DIVISION OF STUDENT SERVICES
Students at the International Open University should maintain regular contact with the Division of Student Services.Once enrolled in any degree program, Student Services functions as the central contact point for virtually allinquiries. The members of the Division will either provide solutions to issues that may arise or direct the student to theappropriate sources to foster resolution. Assignments and exams are processed through Student Services: the receiptof the given course assignment is noted formally, after which the submission is transmitted to a field expert (facultymember) for evaluation. Upon return to Student Services, grades are recorded, progress is monitored and results arecommunicated to the student.

GRADING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
The International Open University monitors and records student progress in each course completed in accordance with the standard college-level scale, as follows:

•Cumulative GPA is computed by dividing the total number of credit points earned by the total number of completedcredit hours.•Courses given a grade of a PR, W or I are not computed in the student's GPA.•Acceptable transfer credit counts towards graduation, but are not computed on the student's GPA.
GRADE REPORTS/ TRANSCRIPTS
Students may obtain a current grade report by logging into E-classroom. Once the student has entered the E-classroom, they are able to access grade reports and a current transcript. These reports include course grading andindicate a students academic standing. The grade reports can be mailed directly to the student’s permanent mailingaddress or delivered via E-Mail.This request is processed according to the Transcript Request procedure and students incur a $50 per requestcharge. The University encourages students to obtain grade reports via the free online delivery option. A finaltranscript will be sent as part of the graduation package when all academic and financial obligations have beensatisfied. Upon request, the University will send transcripts to current or prospective employers, educationalinstitutions, or certifying agencies. There is a $50 fee charged each time a transcript is requested by thestudent. Letters of recommendation can be provided upon request. Students who have a financial obligation to theUniversity will not receive their final grades until the obligation is satisfied nor will they have access to the websitefor the purpose of obtaining grades or transcripts.
POLICY
CODE OF ETHICS – ACADEMIC INTEGRITY
The Code of Ethics defines our commitment toexcellence and is integral to the life of the International Open University student. All students are expected to signthe Code of Ethics during the enrollment process and adhere to the University policies regarding academic honestythroughout their enrollment period. All Students are required to submit a signed copy of the Student Code of Ethicsduring the enrollment process. Faculty Instructors may elect to issue a grade of zero (0) to any student who attemptsto submit work that is not his or her own. The University reserves the right to expel any student who does not adhereto the Student Code of Ethics.
LEAVE OF ABSENSE POLICY
The International Open University understands that circumstances arise where a student may have to put their studieson hold. There is no academic penalty for taking a leave of absence. Students who elect to take a break from theirstudies will still receive an invoice in the mail every month and are expected to continue timely payments towardtheir account balance. Students are encouraged to progress through their program in a timely manner and take aLeave of Absence only when absolutely necessary. Students who do not submit academic assignments for a period of12 consecutive months will be withdrawn by the University and will need to re-enroll in order to reestablish their

CHANGE OF MAJOR
In the event that you decide to change your major while registered at IOU, official notification is required. Please fillout the Status Change Form and submit it to Student Services with a $100.00 processing fee.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Students are considered to have fulfilled all requirements and are eligible to graduate when they have completedall programmatic requirements. Bachelors degree students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 and Masters degreestudents must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 in order to be eligible for graduation.All financial obligations to the University must be met in order for a student to be approved for graduation. Tuitionand fees must be paid in full before transcripts will be released and/or degrees will be conferred.Several forms must be submitted to complete graduation requirements. These include:1.
