Invitation ‘Meet and Greet’ with European and Asian Rectors and Presidents

From 24-28 September 2012, the University of Groningen will host the 3rd Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Rectors’ Conference or ARC3, in cooperation with the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) and the Asean University Network (AUN). The theme of the ARC3 is ’Universities, Businesses and You: For a Sustainable Future’. University leaders from 46 Asian and European countries will participate in this highly prestigious event (visit http://www.asef.org/ and http://www.aseminfoboard.org/ for more information).
Call for participation: ‘Meet and greet’ lunch meeting for students and university leaders
One of the conference events is a ‘Meet and Greet’ between Rectors and students, to be held on Wednesday 26 September (lunch will be provided). We are cordially inviting students from the 46 ASEF member states to sign up for this excellent network opportunity and meet university leaders from their home country to informally exchange information and discuss (student) life in the city of Groningen. For university leaders, this is a great chance to stay in touch with their students abroad.

Please bear in mind that due to the limited available spots there is a ‘first come, first served’ principle.
The deadline for registration is 20 September 2012. After you have registrated, you will receive a confirmation and more detailed information. Marten and Inge will also answer any question you may have.
