    Chobham Manor will be the first

    neighbourhood delivered in the Queen

    Elizabeth Olympic Park after the 2012 Games,

    part of the first phase of an extensive twenty

    year development plan. Chobham Manor

    will focus on building a thriving community

    extending to 9.3 ha area between the Athletes

    Village and the VeloPark, with a border along

    the green open spaces of the north parklands.

    Construction is expected to begin in Autumn

    2013 and continue through 2017.

    Chobham Manor will feature tree-lined

    avenues, intimate streets and mews houses,

    terraced homes with private gardens and open

    squares, reflecting the traditional character

    of Londons neighbourhoods.

    With a high proportion of houses designed

    for families, Chobham Manor will also offer

    excellent facilities to meet their needs.

    Facilities include a walk-in health centre, two

    nurseries, community space and local retail,

    as well as providing easy access to nearby

    Chobham Academy school for 3-19 year olds

    (opening in 2013).

    attractionsThe ArcelorMittal Orbit is only the first of many

    world-class attractions to be featured at Queen

    Elizabeth Olympic Park. The dynamic South

    Plaza will be animated with a variety of exciting

    new attractions to be enjoyed by the millions

    of visitors to the Park. The Legacy Company

    is looking for development and operating

    partners to help take these initiatives forward

    beginning in late 2013 when the Park begins

    to reopen after the Olympic and Paralympic

    Games. Examples of the types of attractions

    the Legacy Company are looking for range

    from rides to museums, ice skating rinks to

    water and light shows.

    Elizabeth Olympic Park are reserved for development

    and therefore available following the 2012 Games.

    These vacant development spaces will provide space

    for a range of community, cultural and commercial

    investment opportunities.

    The types of opportunities will vary from small

    budding entrepreneurs to established local and

    national operators. Some of the options currently being

    considered include pre-fabricated artists workshops,

    temporary installations, event spaces, markets,

    pop-up restaurants, and community gardens. These

    installations range in time scales from 6 months

    to more significant opportunities of up to 15 years.
