Web Forms for use by Accredited Persons

Progress to Date

Spectrum Licensing

> Spectrum licensing went into the new system in March 2013 to facilitate the digital dividend as well as the re-issue of licences in the 800 & 1800 MHz bands

> Included tools for planning the auction process and for trading of spectrum licences

> Also included the development of the ACMA Lodgement Facility (ALF) for spectrum device registrations

Progress to Date

Apparatus Licensing

> New frequency coordination tools to replace manual processes> Workflow based system for new, vary, renew, surrender, cancel

etc for all licence types> Changes to fee structures> Enhanced version of ALF for apparatus licensing> Web forms for apparatus licensing for Accredited persons> User acceptance testing is ongoing

Future activities

> Implementation of apparatus licensing> Date to be decided – will be advised to stakeholders via

ACMA website> Shutdown period required to allow for final data migration> Some changes to processes with clients (licence documents,

communication channels etc)> Broadcast licensing

> Currently in design stage> Forecast for later in FY 15/16
