◆ Therewillbetwoexams,amid-termandafinal.Theexamswillcoverclasslecturesandreadings.Theexamsaretakenonline,butmustbetakeninthepresenceofthecourseinstructor/coordinator.Thefinalexamiscumulative,coveringtheentiresemester.

◆ Therearetwobookreviewsassigned.Theseshouldbefourtosixpageseach.Halfofthereviewshouldpresentanoverviewofthebook.Theotherhalfofthereviewshouldexpressyouropinionofwhatyoulikedanddislikedaboutthebooks.

◆ Thesearetheminimalrequirementstopassthecourse.Thereviewsmustbeturnedin,bothtestsmustbetaken,andthereadingsmustbecompletedtopassthecourse.Althoughabookreviewcountsfortwentypercentofthefinalgrade,ifabookreviewisnotturnedinoracceptedbecauseitisoveraweeklate,thestudentcannotpassthecourseregardlessofscoresonotherassignments.
