The Great Travel Album Project

• The purpose of this project is to use the skills you have acquired in Photoshop to produce a set of photographs that you and a partner could have or would have taken if you had gone on an amazing trip around the world.

Hawaii – This where I really want to be. Let’s go there together.

What You Will Need• You will need photos of these amazing

places and photos of yourselves.• You will put the two photos together

using the techniques you have learned.• Each of you will complete five of ten

pictures in Photoshop.

Completion of Project• You should have done all of the

following to your finished photos:1. Place yourselves in the photos.2. Use layers to adjust the levels and

color balance, etc.3. Take any extraneous people or

objects out of the photos.4. Make yourselves an appropriate size

for the background into which you are inserting your digital pictures.

Copyright Issues• You will find photos of these places

on many Internet sites. The problem, however, is that copyright prevents us from using many of them. Use your best search techniques to find photos that are free to use or are marked as public domain.

• How to work with photos in Adobe Photoshop to make your composite photos look realistic.

• How to use PowerPoint to make an exciting presentation.

You Are To Do The Following:

• The Project we are about to begin will take two weeks.

• Put the finishing touches on your photos.

• Create a Power Point slide show to display your photos and tell about each of the stops you made on your “trip”.
