INTRODUCTION

Natural latex has been used for various uses including

is, casting plaster, cement, metals, among others. even

it is used to help stabilize the soil of the desert to be

suitable for agricultural use. The polymer construction is

used in pipes to be inert to chemicals and no oxidation

of it, is also used as thermal insulation.

GOALS

GENERAL

To test different adhesives according wing NTC 4381, in

order to define a technical comparison between ceramic

adhesives containing latex and polymers used in the

construction industry

PARTICULARS

To develop a technical comparison of what were the

reactions, behavior, performance of these adhesives

undergo strength tests, giving a rate which is more

feasible for use.

CONCLUSIONS

•The vertical slip test for Portland adhesive sample provides a

better grip or result because after twenty minutes 0.2 mm slides

while Pegacor between 1.2 and 1.6 mm slip by the above it is

concluded that the response of greater vertical displacement is

Portland becoming a minimal difference.

• The tensile strength test which was performed applying a

tension force. This test reveals that behavior of Portland

adhesive presents better response for a load solicitation.
