Scotch and 3M Tartan box sealing tapes deliver convenience and dependability every time you use them. They are built tough to resist score line breaking and centre seam splitting even when boxes are handled roughly. Tape dispenses quickly and easily to save you time. Both Scotch and Tartan box sealing tapes are available in a variety of lengths and widths to meet your specifi c needs.

Choosing the right box sealing tape is easy. Refer to the matrix on the left below for standard fi bre board cartons. Refer to the matrix on the right below for recycled board cartons or when the tape is applied in cold or damp conditions. Look at the stress* and weight axis to fi nd which tape to use. Then consider the value axis. Tapes with rubber adhesive have the strongest holding power, while acrylic adhesive tapes are the stickiest with high initial adhesion. If given a choice of tapes, it is recommended you use the higher grade tape to ensure a safe and secure seal. Generally, the higher the tape number, the higher the grade.
