Introduction and background

GL Assessment is the UK’s leading provider of formative assessments for schools. More than 3 million assessments are taken in UK primary and secondary schools every year and we have delivered over 7 million online tests to date.

Throughout this document when we talk about a Centre of Excellence we may be referring to all four options unless otherwise stated.

Why become a Centre of Excellence?

A Centre of Excellence is an education establishment that we work very closely with to support our vision to gain a complete understanding of each individual learner’s needs including attitude, ability and attainment. This allows teachers to make informed teaching and learning decisions to track progress effectively over time.

There are four options that you can choose from depending on the features and benefits that are most appealing to you.

Our bespoke partnerships ensure that we deliver the greatest positive outcomes for our Centres of Excellence, our clients and their pupils.

How long will the partnership continue for?Our partnership agreements run for a standard 3-year period, with a short annual review to ensure that both parties are fulfilling their commitments.

How do I become a Centre of Excellence?

Using this document, please take a look at the features and benefits of the different options and decide which one will suit your needs best. Complete pages 5-7 answering the questions relevant to your chosen partnership and return to us when our selection process will begin and we will reach out to you for more information or to book a visit to your school. Should you have any questions about the application process or the terms and conditions of engagement please contact a member of the Training Team on:

T: 0208 996 3624E: [email protected]

Further information on our assessments and associated services can be found at gl-assessment.co.uk.
