Decant Technology
Meet the world’s most versatile and efficient decanting solution
The high performance Decant range of Tanker Loaders is expressly designed for short turnaround loading of bulk road tankers and truck-mounted bulk intermodal containers.
We typically supply the Decant range as a ready-to-operate turnkey package including electrical controls. Pod high level sensors, on-board compressed air, and dust extraction are optional.
The Decant is built tough to withstand the rigours of a fast-paced trans-loading environment, accepting material feeds from single or multi-trip bulk bags as well as connection to an upstream process.
The Decant range is powered by Floveyor’s trademark aero-mechanical conveying (AMC) technology. This ensures highly efficient conveying, unprecedented availability and eco-efficiency with minimum energy consumption.
Choose the Decant designed for your application, from manually-operated mobile units to semi-automatic fixed plant solutions.
Benefit from gentile fluidising AMC technology
1. An efficient high-speed motor drives an internally circulating rope assembly within the conveying tubes.
2. Air within the tubes slips past the polymer discs of the rope assembly creating a low-pressure air pocket behind each disc.
3. Bulk material is fed into the system at the feed housing and accelerated into the conveying tubes by the feed sprocket.
4. The conveying discs, resulting airflow and low-pressure air pockets combine to suspend the bulk material and draw it rapidly but gently to the discharge point.
This technology results in minimal material-material contact and minimal material-equipment contact. It’s the perfect process for bulk materials with poor properties.

The competitively priced Decant Basalt is a robust, modular, solution for decanting disposable (single-trip) Flat-Bottom FIBCs containing granular non-dusty materials.
This highly efficient system is fit for purpose and affordable. It cuts open the bottom of the FIBC, so the decanted material drops into the holding hopper.
This allows for continuous loading of the Road Tanker while the forklift/JCB operator disposes the empty bag and loads the next FIBC.
The Decant Basalt is designed for rapid mobilisation, application and demobilisation.
FIBC TypeDisposable (Single-Trip) Flat-Bottom Bags up to 1,200 x 1,200mm
Material SuitabilityGranular, non-dusty products
