FAQsWhy does Petzam require a VCPR (Veterinary-Client-Patient-Relationship) for use?Petzam supports the AVMA and Medical Boards position on VCPR/Telemedicine because we appreciate the importance of regular in-person check-ups and record-keeping. We also believe that telemedicine within a VCPR is beneficial for your practice, ensuring that your clients are not lost to anonymous, virtual veterinarians.

How are veterinarians paid for consults?At the end of the video consult, the major credit card or PayPal account entered by your client will be charged. Your payment will be sent to your office monthly, minus a small transaction fee.

Are there any other fees?No, there is only a 10% transaction fee from your client’s payment to you. We don’t make money unless you do. We’re a team. There are no start up, monthly or annual fees. Contact us for more details!

When will veterinarians need to be available for consults?This is entirely up to you. You can set your availability however it works best with your schedule and your clients’ needs.

How much does a video consult cost?Consults are charged per 10-minute increments. The price for a video consult will depend on the rate determined by each veterinarian. Rate can be changed as often as veterinarian likes.
