Over the last few editions, I’ve been sharing my experience of being a guest at Verve.

I’ve shared the joy of spending time with my new family in the studio and the anticipation of having our artwork ready to hang in our home. I was like a kid in a candy shop when I received a call from Adrian, our lovely Guest Experience Manager, to say that our artwork had arrived at the studio in Richmond. We headed straight over and re-watched our show one last time, reliving all the incredible memories from the day. The girls absolutely loved seeing their faces on the big screen!

Having already planned how and where we would display our artwork, bringing it home really was the cherry on top of our stunning experience. This piece (pictured left) has already become a focal point of our living space. It was one of our absolute favourite images from the shoot and brings us so much happiness every time we see it. Our house is in New Zealand and features a large number of windows, so I alter the layout of our living space to ensure maximum exposure to the sun throughout winter; since I needed to retain some flexibility, it made perfect sense to use an easel to display this piece.

Our home features work from artists all over the globe and our Verve pieces sit amongst them beautifully, injecting some of our own personality into the space. How can I not feel blissfully happy when I walk past those smiling faces every day?

3/4 cup (180 mL) filtered water

1 cup (30g) baby spinach

1 teaspoon flax oil (optional)

tiny pinch cayenne pepper (optional)

2 big red apples, diced

1” (2.5 cm) piece of fresh ginger, peeled and diced

1/2 teaspoon wheatgrass powder (optional)

1 cup ice cubes

Throw all of the ingredients into your high-speed blender and blast for 30 to 60 seconds, until well combined.

Enjoy right away, while it’s still fresh. If separation occurs, give it a little stir.

We recommend measuring any large walls in your space to ensure that we can tailor a collection to fit. Collections can run up staircases, fill entire walls, nestle above sideboards or couches…the options are truly endless. Remember to take plenty of photos and bring them along to your Design Consultation; you’ll be amazed at the ideas your Designer will come up with regarding artwork positioning and finishes.

Collections allow us to tell your unique story using multiple images to suit your personal space. Our collections range from 2 to 20 pieces, depending on your wall size and your images. During your session, your Photographer will have been shooting images with specific collection ideas in mind: this could range from snippets of a pattern in a dress or a close-up of a watch to similar shots of each family member. What may not have made complete sense during your session will certainly come to life on the screen during your Design Consultation.
