- Number and quality of applications received: high potential of the programme for the future
- Interesting results from a content point of view: • High competition and increased quality
• New participating countries: Algeria, Angola, Cape Verde, Malawi and São Tomé and Príncipe (5 out of 17)
• 6 new coordinating countries out of 7
• All 7 coordinators are new institutions
• 48% institutions are newcomers in Intra-Africa and Intra-ACP
• Thematic priorities covered including transversal priorities
