Other Tips Never share your password. Never swear or use abusive language. Delete unneeded files to save computer
space. Never pass obscene, disruptive, or
offensive materials yourself. Never use someone else’s passwords
and ID.
Follow the Board Policies Network Services Code of Conduct.
Never engage in illegal activities including copyright violations.

How do you protect yourself and your network
from a virus?
Check your disks periodically for viruses.
Scan downloaded files for viruses. Scan e-mail for viruses. Don’t open e-mail where you don’t know
the sender.
Now what do you need to do to use the Internet?
• Pass the YKSD Internet/Network Usage Test with 100%•Get your parents to sign the Internet Access permission form.•Agree to YKSD use policies and sign the form.
